Remington Hot Rollers Review & Hair Tutorial

Hello beauties!

I finally decided to review my Remington fast curls hot rollers! I know this review is way overdue, and I truly appologize for that! Many of you have been asking for a review & my opinion on these rollers, so here it finally is!

I got the Remington hot rollers about a year ago, at SME in Italy. I paid around 50 € for them, and I think they're worth the price!

You'll get 20 rollers:
6 wide ones
4 narrow ones
and 10 regular sized ones.

I have very long hair, and these rollers are just enough for me (sometimes I don't even get to use all of them!)

With the rollers in my hair...
leave them for 10- 15 min (or longer, depending on the intensity of the curls you want to achieve!)

My everyday hairstyling routine has been transformed and made so much easier and fuss free :)

I love my curlers because they work fast, they deliver such a gorgeous results, and they don't damage my hair as regular curling irons do!

I like to use them to achieve this very natural, loose curls/waves...especially on the days my hair lacks on volume & texture.

I don't necessarily use them on a freshly washed hair, as a matter of fact, I find they work better on a second day hair!

The result is: Very soft, tousled waves that look very natural & efortless!

Because these hot rollers are so easy to use & quick in achieving results, the good news is that you can use them even when you're getting ready to go to work/school/run errands, and you don't have a lot of time to get ready!
They aren't something that you're going to reach for only in special occasions. To me, that's a big plus!

I definitely recommend them to anybody who wants to have nice hairstyle everyday:)

2014. 1.st Post!

Hello lovelies!

And here we are, already in the 2014.! WOW! 

I'm sorry I wasn't able to update my blog throughout these holidays, because I was travelling-working-being sick...altogether, I was very busy! But I kept thinking about all of you, my lovely readers ♥♥ and I couldn't wait to write my first post in the 2014. !!!

I wish you a year full of happiness, joy & success!!!

Now, first things first...I have a little update for you...

Finally, I became an owner of a smartphone (it was about time, lol!). I'm really enjoying the world of "smart-phoning", and the very first thing I did was...I created an instagram account, of course!

So far, I've downloaded Pinterest (you can find me HERE, even though I haven't started using it properly yet...), Snapseed, WhatsApp, Viber, FACEBOOK...

Anyway, in this blog post I wanted to give you a quick glimpse of what I was up to during the past holidays season...and leave you with a couple of vlogs recommendation (vlogs that I uploaded recently on my channel...)

Even though it was holiday season, I tried to eat as healthy as I can
and to start my day with a...happy, healthy breakfast!

When I was at home, I pampered myself with a pure argan oil...it felt good, spending
the entire day in my pajamas and with just an argan oil on my face :) spa treatment at home ♥

I was experimenting with different hairstyles...

like a braid anymore, but oh well..it was a busy, chaotic day at work!

It's definitely a hairstyle I'm going to wear again, as I got many compliments on it!

In December, my hubby's cousin was getting married, so we were invited to the ceremony!
It was beautiful, but very cold!
This is the make up I did for the occasion, do you like it?
I showed it to you a bit better in my vlog!
I got asked what it was that I used as a foundation, as it photographs so well...
The answer is: Bourjois Healthy Mix (I'm in a shade 52), but the "secret" is in a primer: YSL Top Secrets primer (the container with the brush- the best thing ever! I HAVE to do a review on it! Remind me to do that soon!)

When we got to my home in Rijeka, Croatia, we decorated our
little Christmas tree...

Easy Hair Tutorial: Twist Around Side Braid

Hello beauties!

Today I'd like to share with you one quick and simple, yet creative hairstyle tutorial!

This hairstyle will "save your life" on a bad hair day (and we all do get our fair share of those, regardless of the length, structure, or colour of our hair, lol!)

I remember being quite desperate whenever I was having a bad hair day, but, with time, I lerned to fake it, and now I have a few favourite (easy-to-do) hairstyles, that always work on a "bad-hair day" situation!

This twist-around side braid (it looks like a braid, but it's actually a pony tail!)always gets me compliments and questions on how it's done!

I wouldn't be a real beauty blogger, if I wanted to keep a secret all to myself, so here I'm sharing it with you... ;)

People always compliment me on this hairstyle and ask for a tutorial!

I think this hairstyle looks even better on whoever has highlighted hair, because when you're twisting your hair, lighter & darker shades will mix and your hair will gain a certain dimension & look even more chic! ;)

I like to "mess up a bit" my twist around side braid/ pony tail, by pulling it gently at the sides
 (as shown in the tutorial)
and making it more voluminous!

Use clear, "invisible" hair elastics for this hairstyle.
You don't want them to be very noticeable in your hair!
The less visible, the better!
(I get these hair elastics at my local drugstore/supermarket/beauty supplies store/even H&M occasionally holds these!)

Remember, your hair doesn't need to be super long to be able to pull off this hairstyle!

Fishtail Braid Hair Tutorial (Pletenica "Riblja Kost")

Evo za vas jedan "hair tutorial"!

Ova pletenica "riblja kost" savrsena je frizura za one dane kada ne znate sto biste sa vasom kosom, ili kada niste imali vremena oprati ju, a morate ici na posao, ili imate u planu neki izlazak...

Svaki puta kada spletem ovu pletenicu, dobijem bar par komplimenata i upita, kako li sam to napravila...svi misle da je tehnika teska i zakomplicirana, a u biti je vrlo jednostavna!

Mogla bih cak reci da splesti ovu "riblju kost" pletenicu, nije nista teze od obicne pletenice.

Mozda ce vam u pocetku trebati malo vise vremena, dok se ne isprakticirate, ali, vjerujte mi, zaista je jednostavno!

Evo kako takva pletenica izgleda izbliza:

Kada ispletem ovu pletenicu, nezaobilazno dobijem barem par upita kako sam to napravila, i je li to moja kosa, ili umetak! hihi :)

Ova frizura odlicna je za dane kada ne znate bas sto biste s kosom!
Ja ju volim nositi i na posao, obicno kada znam da cu morati dugo raditi i kada ne zelim da mi kosa "smeta" oko lica :)
...te naravno, kada zelim privuci par sigurnih komplimenata! ;)
