This look I created because I wanted to wear something simple and neutral on my eyes, but still glam and sophisticated... I played a bit with my beloved Cargo "essential eyeshadow" palette (oh, how I love that palette!), and this is the look that I came up with:

My beloved Cargo Eseential Eyeshadow palette is a great palette for creating every day looks, these colours are simply gorgeous, pigmented, long-lasting & very flattering!
I gave a nice pop of colour to my lips with: Kiko Ultra Glossy lip pencil # 612, Deborah Glossy Stick #06, and essence Stay With Me long lasting lipgloss in #04 trendsetter.

One product I recommend from essence brand is definitely the Sun Club All Over bronzer/ highlighter.
For my contouring, I prefer using a compact powder two shades darker than my skin tone.
I find it works better than a regular bronzer :)
Currently, for my contouring, i'm using the "Multi Colour Compact Powder" on everyday basis!

I'm talking about my new favourite mascara, Essence I Love Extreme (old version), and I'm truly in ♥ because this mascara really gives me extreme lashes, and it's very affordable price wise!
I did a whole video review & demo on how I apply it, so you can see better the effect that it has on my lashes :)

Why do I like this mascara so much?
- It's a drugstore brand, easily available & very affordable!
- It's great quality mascara, it really gives you bigger lashes!
- It won't clump or smudge, no spidery effect, you can easily
build it up and apply even more coats for more dramatic look!
- Even the packaging is quite cute & appealing
- It elongates my lashes, separates them and gives them volume, what more could I ask for?
I got my essence mascara at Oviesse store in Italy. In Italy, you can also find essence products at Coin dept.stores. In Croatia it's available in most drugstores, and when I'm there, I usually buy essence at DM, Bipa, Kozmo...
The brush of this mascara is soo big (but not too big...some mascaras tend to have ridiculously big brush, and you just can't work with it!) The bristles are the "old fashioned ones", but I actually like it better that way!
Negative points:
None that I can think of!
It's a really, really good mascara and it can even stand side by side to many high-end, expensive mascaras!

Anyway, let's get to the tutorial...To me, for Valentine's Day, the make up should serve to enhance your natural beauty & the best features, so something simple, yet sexy is in order!
If you cover yourself with tons of make up, you aren't going to impress anybody! If you ask your partner on the subject, I'm sure they'll all agree that they prefer when we wear less make up...less is more to them! :)
So keep this simple rule in mind when doing your make up for Valentine's Day!
I didn't want to go too natural & neutral, so I played a bit with shimmer...just to add that "festive" touch to the look!

Here are the make up products that I used in my tutorial (for my entire face):
Eyes
I used some of my "forgotten favourites" such as Kiko Make Up Milano highly pigmented eyeshadow in #89 and essence #02 "Dance All Night" These eyeshadows are also super cheap! When you put a good base underneath (such as Chanel cream eyeshadow #82), they'll last all day long! The eye look couldn't be complete without a black eye pencil (I'm running out of mine! It's L'Oreal Eye Designer)
Define your eyebrows & accentuate your eyelashes! Eyebrows: - Alverde Augen Brauen Gel #01 Blond - Artdeco Eyebrow Designer Pencil #07
Eyelashes: - Kiko Make Up Milano 30Days Extension Mascara - Lancome Hypnose Star
Cheeks
These are the products I used for contouring, highlighting & giving a flush of colour to my cheeks! Benefit High Beam VOV blush (available at www.bornprettystore.com) Too Faced Candlelight Glow N.Y.C. matte bronzer in 720A Sunny
Face
Lately, I've been using only B.B. creams on my face! This Garnier one for oily/combo skin, works really well for me :) I cover up any imperfection or blemish with Vichy Dermablend foundation stick Kiko Make Up Milano 3D Lifting Concealer in a shade 01 light is my favourite highlighter for my under eye area!
Lips:
Keep them plumped & moisturized (YSL Top Secrets) and don't exaggerate with bold lipstick colours (I'm using this Kiko Make Up Milano Pencil Lip Gloss in #07, "milky pink", very soft colour) I actually love this pencil lip gloss and I truly recommend it (it's moisturizing, amazing colour pay off, really long lasting and very affordable price wise!)
