Sunset in the Italian Hills ♥

Hello girls!

During our little vacation in the italian hills, we made sure to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes and go for a walks in the nature every day.

During one of these walks, just before the beautiful sunset,
we took the pics of my OOTD...

Unfortunately, we didn't film an OOTD video, which I usually do, to follow my blog post, because the batteries of my camera died and even though I had put them to charge during the whole night, they were still completely low :(

My hubby took these pics with his cell phone & that's why the quality & just the pics in general weren't so great, but as I really wanted to show you guys this outfit, I had fun with my OOTD pics on the sites such as picnik & photofunia, to make them a little bit more interesting & presentable! ;)
What do you guys think?
Do you like the effects I've created?
I especially like the one with the snow!
My hubby wanted it to snow so badly while we were there, but unfortunately his wish didn't come true, as this winter has been pretty mild so far!

I think what I wore was a perfect outfit for a casual winter day in the nature, warm, yet still pretty stylish! ;)

I wore:

Oversized cardigan: H&M
Blue mixed wool turtleneck: Diesel
Scarf: H&M
Long chain necklace with a birds pendants: Promod
Fur (faux, of course!) boots: INA Market
Bag: Zara
Sunnies: Stradivarius
Grey jeggings: Bershka
Ring: Italian open market

& a few pics of a beautiful winter sunset in the italian hills...
♥♥

Have a lovely evening,
stay warm & stylish ;)

xx Sonja

Winter OOTD: Dressing on a Budget, yet Stylish!

Hello lovelies!

I've always known that building up your winter wardrobe costs more than building up your summer one!
Winter clothes are usually more expensive, and one feels like one has to "break a bank" to be stylish and on trend! :(
However, the good news is that this belief of mine has recently proven to be wrong! :)

In the cold day of the end of December, I found myself wearing a quite stylish (I'd say!) outfit, and when I started thinking about the money I spent on it, it turned out surprisingly less than one would have expected!

So let's see together how one can dress on a budget, yet staying stylish and on trend!
Here is my little example/ outfit inspiration:

& now, the pics...

Let's see what did I wore:

Military print gilet: Italian Open Market (3€)
Grey sweaterdress: Italian Open Market (3€)
White basic top: H&M (cca 3€)
Grey peggings: Italian Open Market (3€)
Belt: Promod (5€)
Long socks: Promod (cca 3€)
Necklace: Italian Open Market (1€)
Camel color boots: Vagabond (cca 60€)
Bag: Zara (cca 70€)
Bracelets: H&M (cca 3€)
Rosegold watch: "Stella" by Fossil (67.50€)

Just a few of the items(three to be precise!)that I wore here are over 50€, but most of the items were 3€, or less!
I think that's pretty good, don't you?
;)

A little hair update...

While I was in Croatia, I paid a visit to my hairdresser and we touched up my roots.
She did just a few highlights and then she put a light color to my roots, just to make it seem more natural.
We didn't cut my hair, she just did a loose curls/ waves, by using a straightening iron.
I just recently bought a collection of Kerastase Ciment Anti- Usure haircare products, which I love, so I'll be doing a review on those soon!
My hair is getting pretty long, but I don't have any intentions of cutting it just yet! ;)
& with a help of a great quality haircare products such as Kerastase ones, I can definitely allow myself not to cut my hair often!

That's about it for my today's fashion post & other ramblings... ;)

Have a lovely evening!

Winter Fashion: How to Dress Warm, yet Trendy!

Hello girls!

During this holiday season, while I was in Croatia, visiting my family, the weather was beautiful, sunny and not as cold as it usual is in December!
This gave me the possibility to film OOTD & shoot some pics of my winter outfits outside, with some interesting backgrounds!

You can check out my OOTD video here:
(the theme of this one was "How to Dress Warm, yet Trendy, in a cold winter days!")

& here are the pics of my outfit...

I was wearing:

Oversized cardigan (camel colour): H&M
Yellow & black plaid shirt: Italian Open Market
Black silk cami: Intimissimi
Skinny Jeans: Bershka
Grey socks: Promod
Camel colour boots: Vagabond
Belt: Promod
Bag: Zara
Sunnies: H&M
Earrings: INA market
Snood: INA market
Infinity scarf: H&M

I got my camel colour boots years ago in Croatia, while I was still living there!
It turned out to be one of the best buys for the winter season, as they're very comfy to walk around in, they make your legs look great as they have a bit of a chunky heel, so they're definitely more feminine than just a regular, every-day, comfy flat boots!
Also, this camel colour turns out to be a very IN style colour each Winter season ;)

This Winter I'm also loving my new bag from Zara; it is quite spacious, elegant black, with trendy leopard print details at each side!
Tres chic! ;)

I hope you liked this outfit & my little styling suggestion on what to wear in winter time!
Winters here can be very cold, so my priority has always been to dress warm, whilst staying trendy!
My Winter styling tip: Embrace all sorts of warm winter accessories, such as infinity scarves, snoods, gloves, ear muffs etc., for a warm, but stylish look!

In these winter days, stay warm, but trendy! ;)
Ciaoo, ciao!
xx Sonja
