End of the August Vlog & OOTD: Jesolo Beach, Italy!

Hi girls!

The last Sunday in August my hubby & I went to the beach here in Italy...we both love summer so much & enjoy spending our time at the beach!

It was a bit windy so we didn't go for a swimm in the sea, but we played cards & I kicked my hubby's b... (hihi) as the luck was on my side that day :)

We filmed a short vlog & showed you a little bit of the famous tourist destination in Northern Italy, 

Lido di Jesolo.

On our way back home, we stopped in the middle of the fields to do some OOTD pics for my blog & take footages of my old Fiat Punto car!

My hubby owns a car tuning business, so his next project is to pimp my car ;)

It's going to be better than new, once he's done with it!

Then we're going to hit the car exhibitions!

This is the plan :)

My hubby is very talented when it comes to his work, he lives the car tuning, it's just a part of who he is!

& back to the fashion aspect of that sunny sunday...

I felt like wearing something super casual & comfy!

I was wearing my pink sexy bikini, that I wear only when I feel tanned & toned (lol) so I wanted to create a contrast between the bikini & the clothes that I was wearing on top of it!

Look of the Week # 1 (We're Still in Summer!)

Hello girls!

I just started a new video series on my eipysgudps beauty & style channel!

The segment is going to be called "The Look of the Week" and  basically every week I'm going to present you an outfit that I liked the most out of all the outfits I was wearing!

I'm going to talk about all the clothes & accessories that  make the outfit & suggest the occasion to wear this outfit for!

I think this is such a cute outfit for the hot summer days!

The shorts are really comfy and I like the fact that they're high waisted!

I just added an elastic belt to accentuate my waist :)

This is just a simple black elastic belt, but I love the buckle detail that it has :)

I like to wear these shorts with just a simple cotton white T-shirt, tucked inside of the shorts.

You can also wear these shorts with an oversized T-shirt, or top ;)

I really love my black sandals with fringes! I got these here in Italy, this summer!

This is just a perfect casual look, but you can also dress it up, with a pair of wedges and a small clutch!

The Last Day of My Vacations: Making the Most Out of It!

Hello beauties!

I'm sad because the last day of my vacations is here...

I did have a wonderful time, so there is one good reason to be happy!

The past time we were here, we organized our trip in a different way, and I personally think this year we did better! 

Now I'll explain all about it...

The past time, we arrived to Rab in the evening hours, because we slept long and then started our trip in the afternoon hours.

And as far as the return goes, we actually woke up earlier and headed home before noon!

So we arrived home and it was still day & sun shining!

This time, this is our plan:

We arrived to Rab much earlier, because we woke up early in the morning so we had all the afternoon ahead of us to enjoy the beach!

And the last day of our vacations we've decided to wake up earlier again, but instead of going straight to catch a ferry, we went straight to the beach! :)

Stayed there until 18.30 p.m. and then we were ready for going home.

After another beautiful & relaxing day at the beach!!!

I enjoy the summer so much because, as I like to say, I'm a child of this island!

My parents "created" me here, and even though I wasn't actually born on this island, I've spent the first years of my life here.

I remember us going to the beach EVERY DAY since early May till late September!

This is why I can't immagine summer without the beach & the sea, it's just in my blood, a part of my system :)

Ready for My Trip to the Island of Rab!

Hello girls!

After a week spent with my family & friends here in my home town, my hubby & I have decided to go for a short, 6 days vacation, to the beautiful island of Rab!

When I was just a little kid, my parents used to work there, so I lived in this island too, until the age of 4, or 5, when my parents moved and changed their jobs.

I have my first and the most beautiful memories connected to this island.

We have a family friends who live there, so every once & then, my hubby & I go there to visit & to stay a bit for a vacation :)

The last time, we were there in 2008. and we missed Rab so much, we just had to go there this summer.

The lovely family Karlic (teta Marija and gdin. Vinko) always treat us like a family members, and we always feel loved & welcomed in their lovely home!

The trip from my home town to Rab is approx. 2-3 hours long, and it also includes a 10-15 min. ride with a ferry boat, from Jablanac to Misnjak.

This is what I've decided to wear for our trip; it was a very hot & sunny day, so I wanted to wear something comfy & appropriate...

Guilty Pleasures: Shopping With My Mum

Hi girls!

One of these hot summer afternoons, I went shopping with my Mum.

My hubby went to the beach and I've decided to spend some time with my Mum, just hanging around, catching up on things, walking around the centre of the town...

We don't have a chance to do that often, so it felt particularly nice to be able to spend a bit of time with her, doing some girly things:)

We stopped for a bit to eat & later on, the energy restored, went to see what are the local stores offering ;)

This is what I was wearing for a walk & a bit of shopping with my Mum:

A perfect outfit for an afternoon of shopping & walking around the town!

My Mum got herself a belt (& I got the very same one!) and a pair of brown capri pants that fit her perfectly!

& here is what I bought:

Yellow sandals by Franco Shoes.
The colour of these sandals won me over!
Also, I'm loving the coconut details :)

These sandals also came in grey, blue and black,
but I felt drawn towards the yellow colour the most!
It's a perfect colour for summer sandals!

I also got a pair of these black flats, with snake pattern little belts
that tie around the ankles!
These are soo pretty!

Last, but not least, the belt that both me and my Mum got.
I love the turquoise beads!
We got these belts at M.S. fashion store.

That's it, we haven't done too much of a shopping, but we were very happy with the things we got & with the time we spent together, laughing & chatting!
