Secrets to Beautiful Hair: Phyto 7

Hello lovelies!

People often ask me about my hair care routine and is there a certain product that I could recommend that works well in mantaining my hair long & healthy...

I actually have several different hair care products that I swear by, and one of them is Phyto 7 Hydrating Day Cream with 7 plants.

Phyto 7
Hydrating Day Cream with 7 plants
Mallow, calendula, sage, burdock, willow, soybean, rosemary.
LEAVE- IN FORMULA

Sorry, the container is quite "beaten", I actually used up the product completely!
This should be a guarantee of a valid recommendation, don't you think so? ;)
Phytosolba Laboratories are experts in botanical hair care treatments. They extract the most effective active ingredients from the heart of the plant world to create highly concentrated, innovaative formulas that work effectively to mantain beautiful, healthy hair.

DRY HAIR

Hair is either dry naturally or becomes dry due to external stress factors. Dry hair becomes increasingly vulnerable as the hair's hydrolipidic layer no longer fulfills its role as a natural barrier. As a result, hair becomes brittle, dehydrated and difficult to detangle. It is crucial to provide dry hair with the necessary hydrating elements it lacks in order to restore softness, suppleness and shine.

Listen to my word of advice on how to grow your hair long & beautiful, here:

Phyto 7 day cream suits the needs of dry hair. It is infused with 7 pure and natural plant extracts, selected for their emollient and regenerating properties.
Formula quickly absorbs into the hair fiber to help mantain an optimal hydration level without weighing hair down.
Hair is protected, silky soft and illuminated with shine.

Apply to towel dried hair or even dry hair.
Emulsify a pea-size amount of product in the palm of your hands. Distribute through hair, focusing on the ends.

For very dry, coloured and damaged hair, I recommend Phyto 9, the hair care cream/treatment that I'm currently using (the review of  it will be up soon!)

I hope this was helpful & informative!
Definitely check out Phyto hair care products, they're among the best products for your hair! :)

L'Occitane IMMORTELLE Precious Eye Balm (Best Seller!) Review

Hello beauties!

I have a product recommendation for you!
I've been loving this L'Occitane cream for under eye area, I think it's one of the best creams on the market now!

It's a very rich, luxurious treatment for the sensitive skin around my eye area, it feels like a pampering session every time I apply it :)

Immortelle grows wild along Mediterranean coast and owes its name to its exceptional longevity- the flower never fades, even after it has been picked. In 2004. L'Occitane launched the very first organic Immortelle plantation program in Corsica. It established a partnership with local farmers, which allows for the sustainable supply of Immortelle while also preserving the Corsican landscape.Quality and traceability are guaranteed from the planting to the distillation of the flower. L'Occitane has always believed in the power of phytotherapy.
In keeping with this tradition, it has selected powerful organic active ingredients, extracted from immortelle flowers:

  • immortelle essential oil,
  • immortelle floral water,
  • immortelle cell extracts.

L'Occitane has patented the exceptional anti-aging properties of these ingredients. To this day, four patents have been registered for the Immortelle range.

Find out more about this eye cream & about my experience, in my video, here:

it keeps your under eye area young looking, firm & smooth!

precious, luxurious treatment for your under eye area!

L'Occitane offers a complete Precious skincare range to visibly correct wrinkles and loss of firmness.

The results are:

smoother skin
Immortelle helps stimulate collagen production, to fill in deep wrinkles and restructure the epidermis for smoother skin.
It diminishes the length and the depth of wrinkles.

firmer skin
the support network of the skin is reinforced.

younger skin
microcirculation is stimulated, promoting cell renewal. The skin is protected against free radicals. Skin looks incredibly younger!

The Immortelle Precious range offers a complete skincare routine!

I'm very happy with this product, I'll certainly be repurchasing it and I'm going to try out other skincare product from the range.

L'Occitane is available at L'Occitane beauty stores, and in Italy you can also find it at Coin department stores!

I hope this was helpful to you! If you have any questions about my skincare, leave me your comment!

Stila Classic Beauty Icon Eyeshadow Quad Review & Tutorial

Hello dolls!

Today I'm reviewing an eyeshadow quad that isn't new in my make up collection, but I just recently started using it on a daily basis & I have been loving the looks I'm creating with this palette!

It's Stila Classic Beauty Icon eyeshadow palette, and I got it a while ago as a present, from one of my lovely followers from the US, Pamela!
Stila is very hard, if not even impossible to get here in Italy, so I was very happy when Pamela decided to send me Stila, along with some other brands that aren't available in Italy!

Here is how the palette looks like:

Like a cover of a fashion magazine!
So cute! :)

Eyeshadows/Blush/Lipgloss (& swatches)

Great palette when you're on the go, you don't need anything else to create a simple everyday make up!

Swatches: eyeshadow nude & icon

Swatches: heat (cheek color) & eyeshadow twig

H&M Winter Sales Fashion Haul

Hello dolls! ♥

I have a fashion haul for you! It's quite big one, so I hope you'll enjoy watching it! :)

I got a whole bunch of stuff at H&M during the winter sales (btw. winter sales are still going on here in Italy, they'll last until the end of February. How about the other countries? Are the winter sales still on, in your country? Let me know!)

I'm really, really happy with the purchases I've made!
I got some pieces that I'm going to be able to wear in spring time as well, because of the colours/prints, and also because of the textures...
Some of these things I've been eyeing ever since they arrived in stores...but for some reason I wasn't going to buy full price...now I'm really, really happy that I managed to get such a great deals on them!

Nothing beats the excitment of bargain shopping!!!
(We're talking about the things that were discounted from 49.95€ to only 5€, so you get an idea how amazing this haul was!)

Watch my haul video, where I'm showing you all the things that I got at H&M at winter sales, here:

Here are some snapshots of my purchases:

I always like H&M jewellery!
They have got some really cute & trendy pieces :)
As you can see, these were on sale for only 1€ (the silver chunky/statement one was reduced to 3€, but it was still pretty good deal considering that it originally cost 14.95€, which is quite expensive for H&M jewellery, they used to be a lot cheaper!)

White studded bag will be great even in spring / summer season!
I got it for 10€.
Ballet flats, shoes & booties were reduced to only 5€!

Pants, leggings & skinny jeans... 5€ a pair!

Warm knitwear, only 5€!

I guess it was "5 € day" at H&M, lol!
I can't believe how many great finds, I completely renewed my wardrobe with less than 100€!

I hope you liked this haul!

I'm not done with shopping on winter sales just yet, so you might want to expect another fashion haul soon! ;)

Aveda Shampure Haircare Review

Hello beauties!

I did a review of my favourite hair care products of the moment: AVEDA!
I bought these Aveda hair care products for the first time ever, just around Christmas, and I have been using their shampoo and a conditioner from the SHAMPURE line ever since!
Since I'm really pleased with the products and how they work on my hair, I thought a review is in order! :)

Aveda is now taking care of my hair :)
These products are pampering my hair, the shampoo and a conditioner from Shampure line.

Aveda has got a big selection of different products designed for every hair type/ hair problem, but since this was the first time I was trying out their products, I've decided to go for their "basic" line, the "Shampure", for frequent usage (suitable even for every day usage!).
Next time, I'll make sure to try out the "Damage Remedy" line that is supposed to be a very intense, nourishing care for coloured/dry/damaged hair.

The "Shampure" line is one of the less expensive lines from Aveda hair care.
250ml of the shampoo retails at 16,50€
250ml of the conditioner retails at 18,50€
Available at selected hair salons.
Aveda also offers styling products for any specific need, skin care, body care products and even make up!
My local hairdresser's salon is selling only the hair care/styling products, so I haven't had a chance to try out their make up or body care.

Aveda products are based on natural ingredients and Aveda claims to be eco-friendly company.

You can find out more about Aveda here!

This shampoo has got a clear texture, but once you apply it on your scalp it actually feels quite creamy, it lathers up well
and leaves your hair feeling clean and moisturized.
I really like it!
You only need a small amount of the product to make it work; I've been using this product for two months now, (I wash my hair twice a week, and my hair is very long), I still haven't used it up!
250ml will last you a long time!

The conditioner from Shampure line was very moisturizing and I liked it.
The only thing is that it's not the best thing for detangling your hair!
If your hair tends to be very tangly as mine does, you'll need to apply a good hair detangler afterwards, to help you out in combing it!

The scent of both of these product is very subtle, but amazing, when using them on my hair, it feels better than some pampering treatment in a hair salon!

Shampure line cleanses and conditiones hair with morikure protein from the Peruvian rainforest. Infused with aroma of 25 pure flower and plant essences.
Among other ingredients, it contains: Lavender extract, Aloe Leaf Juice, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Wheat Protein, Brazil Nut Protein, Wheat Amino Acids, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Avocado Oil...

You can find out more about the shampoo and a conditioner from the Shampure line, in my review video, here:

Besides "Shampure", Aveda offers other hair care lines:

- Invati
- Dry Remedy
- Damage Remedy
- Smooth Infusion
- Be Curly
- Color Conserve
- Pure Abundance
- Scalp Benefits
- Sun Care
- Rosemary Mint
- Colour Enhancing
- Brilliant Haircare
- Aveda Men Pure- Formance Haircare

My final verdict is that I'm very pleased with the products I've tried out from Aveda, and that I'll be relying on them for my hair care in the future as well! :)

Have you ever tried anything from Aveda?
If so, would you like to recommend a certain product to me?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

My Skincare Regimen With PMD Personal Microderm Review & DEMO

Hello beauties!

Today's blog post is a review of one product that has totally changed my skincare routine & brought it to another level! :)
I have noticed major improvements in the appearance of my skin, that's why, after a couple of months of using this product, I can now safely do a very positive review on it!

I've had the PMD (personal microderm) since this past October, or November, and it took me so long to get this review up, just because I wanted to become familiar with it first and make sure that it really has such a positive effect on my skin, before recommending it to you.
It is a bit more on the expensive side (it retails at 179.00$), but it's totally worth the price, as a matter of fact, it'll save you up a lot of money, if you compare it to the cost of a microdermabrasion at your doctor's studio!
Plus, you can do it at home, and more often (it's recommended to use the PMD once a week, but not more often than that!)

What is microdermabrasion?

The idea behind microdermabrasion is that if you break-apart and remove the dead skin cells on the stratum corneum skin layer, the body will interpret this as a mild injury and rush to replace the lost cells with healthy new ones.

This process benefits the skin in numerous ways. When the stratum corneum is removed, the skin's surface, tone, and texture are visibly improved. The new cells generated during the healing process look and feel smoother. Many of the skin's visible imperfections- such as sun damage, blemishes, fine lines, and dark spots- improve as well.

Without the stratum corneum acting as a barrier, skin care products can be fully absorbed and the greater penetration helps maximize the product benefits. Skin care products are up to 20 times more effective when combined with microdermabrasion.

Whether microdermabrasion is performed in a professional setting, or in your own home with a do-it-yourself microderm device, the principle behind the treatment is the same.

(in the following pics you'll see my PMD device, exceuse the poor quality of the photos, they were taken with my videocamera..)

PMD kit for a simple & effective microdermabrasion at your own home :)

In the kit, besides the device, you'll get a power switch adaptors, replacement discs for your face & other areas of your body and another cap (a larger one, that works with larger discs- for microdermabrasion of other areas on your body)

There is no battery for this unit, it is designed to run off of a power cord in order to mantain consistent performance.

How to prepare your skin for the treatment?

Thoroughly cleanse your skin. Make sure that it is free from all make up, dirt and oils.
Once the skin is clean, allow it to dry completely before you begin. A dry skin surface is particularly important because it allows the Microdermal Exfoliator to work properly and effectively. If the skin is damp or clammy, the disc will be unable to smoothly glide over it.

Your first treatment should be with the white training disc. This should help you practice before using a real disc.
After practicing with the white disc, move on to the blue disc, which is the most gentle. Use the small disc for face and delicate areas and the large disc on your body.
In the kit you'll also get the green disc (medium strenght abrasion).

The positive effects I've noticed on my skin:

- After the treatment, my skin feels smoother and looks more radiant.
- My skin is less prone to breakouts and blemishes, my complexion has become clearer.

Happy & radiant after the treatment.
The results were noticed by my hubby & by my colleagues from work too!

How I use this device?

- Use your free hand to pull the skin tight in the treatment area. Move PMD in an upward motion across the skin (do not make more than two passes over one area during the treatment.)
Following the treatment, use a toner to neutralize the ph balance in your skin and a recovery moisturizer (I personally like to use La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5, but you can also use products from PMD Professional Skincare range).

- Let your skin recover (wait 6-7 days between treatments).
I use it even less frequently, I find that it works well even when used once every two weeks!

For all the additional info + DEMO on how I use the PMD device, check out here:

After the treatment, my skin is more beautiful& younger looking!
This device is also great as an anti-age treatment :)

When I first got the device, to be honest with you, I was super excited, because there has been a lot of hype going on around it!
Some of the biggest names on youtube beauty community had done extra positive reviews of this device.
Before making my review, I wanted my initial excitment to pass, I wanted to forget all about what the other gurus had said, and...see for myself, test it on my own skin, to see how it really works!

Now, after months of using it, I can invite you all to get your own set order it here!
(For my lovely readers, there is a discount coupon code, just enter MissFashionKitty at checkout!)

(I promise, I'm not affiliated with the company, nor am I getting paid to write this review!!!)

If you have already tried this device, share your experiences with me in the comment's section!

I hope you found this review helpful, if you liked this post, please share it with your friends & help me out in spreading the word about my blog!
Thank you so much for all your support ♥

Valentines Day Outfit Ideas (for the cold weather)

Hello lovelies!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, so I'm sharing with you some (hopefully) inspirational make up & fashion videos :)

Yesterday I blogged about the appropriate make up for your special day (date), and today, here are some last- minute outfit ideas!

It's cold & snowing here in Italy, that's why I tried to put together realistic outfits to wear in these extreme weather conditions...February is usually the coldest month of the year here where I live, so it makes it kind of difficult to dress up when you have some sort of a special occasion to celebrate!

I put together three outfits that could work for colder weather, as well as for the mild climate, because all it takes to "adjust" them is to add (or loose) a layer! ;)

So let's check out my video for a few new outfit ideas!

Outfit # 1

Jacket: Bershka
Black top: H&M
Belt: H&M
Skirt: Pull & Bear

for the cold weather conditions, wear a black, or burgundy, wool coat on top.

Outfit # 2

Total look: H&M

for the extreme weather conditions, add a (faux) fur jacket on top. Mine is from Zara (past winter's collection).

Outfit # 3

Scarf: Pull & Bear
Lace top: Pull & Bear
Skinny jeans (olive green): Zara

For the cold weather conditions, put a cardigan + a warm coat on top! In my video, I'm showing you the coat that I think would go well with the outfit :)

I hope this served you as an inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by & please support me by sharing this blog post with your friends!

Have fun tomorrow lovelies, I'm wishing you all a very happy Valentine's Day!!!

Kissss from Italy,

xoxo, S.
