Kos crystal jewelry: Tiger´s eye and heliotrope handmade necklace

How are you doing?

I wanted to share with you this beautiful necklace that I made with tigers eye and heliotrope crystals.

You guys might already know that I have my own handmade jewellery line, based on natural materials and crystals (@koscrystaljewelry), and creating jewellery makes me happy and relaxes me and I always put good energy and positive vibes into my creations.

I find my inspiration in the nature that surrounds us and all its beauty.

I also like to learn about crystals and their energy and healing powers and based on that knowledge I pick crystals that I want to create my jewellery pieces with. I like to say it's a jewellery with a purpose and special meaning.

Heliotrope, or Bloodstone is a type of dark green quartz with red flecks. Its other name, heliotrope, comes from the Greek word for solstice. It's a popular crystal often used for strength, presence, and courage.

It´s a Heart Chakra stone, known for its deep green colour and specks of red.

Bloodstone is believed to work on the circulatory system: strengthening veins, toning the heart and fortifying the blood--all things that contribute to a long, healthy life. It is also associated with "getting your blood up"--the infusion of a person with courage and strength of purpose.

It heightens intuition and increases creativity. It is grounding and protecting. Bloodstone draws off negative environmental energy, helping to overcome influences such as geopathic or electromagnetic stress. It stimulates dreaming and is a powerful revitaliser.

Tigereye is said to combine earth energy with light or sun energy, creating an intense stone that's also well-grounded. Tigereye is said to enhance psychic and empathic energies, while protecting its wearer with an unblinking eye.

Many people turn to tiger's eye no matter the variety to help detox the blood, to bring about good luck, courage, confidence, and emotional centeredness.

Tigers Eye is good for growing your confidence and strength and it is known as the stone of courage. It is a root and sacral chakra stone which means it helps you to get grounded, build a safe and strong foundation, and find your motivation once more. It's also good at warding off negative energy.

Lungo mare Zurkovo- Kostrena, mjesto gdje me je moj dragi deda ucio igrati poker, gdje sam sa roditeljima kao curica vozila svoj prvi djecji bicikl sa pomocnim kotacima, gdje smo se tata i ja ljuljali na ljuljackama, gdje smo deda i ja setali vecer prije mog prvog skolskog izleta i predvidali lijepo vrijeme za sutrasnji dan, kako bi se izlet mogao ostvariti.

Mjesto gdje sam kao srednjoskolka odlazila autobusom na more sa drustvom, a kasnije sa svojim prvim automobilom, ljeti nakon zavrsenog radnog dana na poslu, ravno na more...uzivancija!

Jednostavno, Kostrena, za nas koji tu blizu zivimo, uzeli bi ju zdravo za gotovo, a kad krenes nabrajati, ona je tako posebna za svakoga od nas...

Coastal walk Zurkovo- Kostrena in Croatia, close to my hometown, is a place where my dear grandpa used to teach me how to play poker. It's also a place where, as a little girl accompanied by my parents, I drove my first bike, where my Dad used to take me to seesaw.

Here is where my grandpa and I walked the night before my first school trip, hoping that tomorrow would be sunny so the school trip could take place.

Kostrena is a place where I used to go to the beach by bus, when I was still in high school, together with my girlfriends, and then, when I started my first job, in summertime, I would come here after work hours, by my first car...and that was such a pleasure! You know, being able to have a dip in the sea straight after a busy work day.

For us who live here, Kostrena might be taken for granted, but, when you start to think about all the memories connected to it, it surely is very special place for each and every one of us...

There is really no better feeling than the one you get by just being close to the sea :-)

When days are nice and sunny, it's the best thing to do!

For walks by the sea, I like to dress sporty and casual, but with a "chic" twist.

I was looking for ages for a pair of oversized cargo jeans, and then I found this super cool pair second hand! I was thrilled :-) I styled them with the cutest floral sweater top and a white cardigan, and on top I put this vintage leather jacket, that I also got second hand.

A mix of vintage and trendy pieces definitely gives you a unique look, which is what I like :-)

I actually bought these jeans one size bigger than my usual size, because I wanted them to fit extra oversized. I added a lightweight floral scarf on the jacket because I thought that's gonna look extra chic (and I like to do the same for the bags as adding a little scarf to them, can instantly "upgrade" them).
