Summer outfits vol.10: It's not about the outfit, it's about the hair!

Hello lovelies!

Even though summer seems to be long gone by now, I still wanted to continue this little recap of my fave summer looks of 2022.

I like this denim jumpsuit that I bought a couple of years ago at H&M, because it's very easy to style and it always looks up to date :-)

I'm thinking of paying a visit to my hairdresser soon, I'd like to add some blonde highlights but I want it to be professionally done and look good. I'm a bit fed up with being my own hairdresser and I feel like I want to spoil myself a little bit, like I used to :-)

This was a very quick to style and simple look for catching up with some friends for a couple of drinks (and by "drinks", I mean water, or tea at most, lol!)

Outfit details:

Denim jumpsuit: H&M

Hermes like leather sandals: Style Lab (second hand, but brand new)

Coral necklace: Vintage, my Mum´s

Sunglasses: Pepco

Backpack: Guess

Let me know how do you like this look?

Do you have any good hair care tips?

I'll talk to you soon!

Summer outfits vol.9: Dancing through life

Hello lovelies!

Here are a couple of photos that I really wanted to share with you as they bring joy and all the wonderful feelings to my heart!

This is how I want to imagine my everyday life: Like dancing, with a big smile on my face :-) Carefree, just enjoying the present moment.

Gosh, now it's the end of September and it already feels like winter :-/ In the evenings, we have to put the heating on, which is way too early...it feels like this year, it's all extremes...extremely hot summer that ended way too quickly, and now it's already way too cold for a normal September...

Outfit details:

Shirt: H&M

Shorts: Vero Moda (second hand from "Textile House")

Sunglasses: Pepco

Hairband: Sinsay

Anyways, this is the song that was playing in my mind when we took these photos:

🎶 Zamisli život u ritmu muzike za ples
Zamisli život u ritmu muzike za ples
Zamisli život drugačiji od ovog
I igraj igraj igraj igraj
Zamisli život u ritmu muzike za ples

Ako zamisliš život u ritmu muzike za ples
Ako zamisliš život u ritmu muzike za ples
Doći će do promjene u tvojoj glavi
I vjerovat ćeš da postoji nada
Ako zamisliš život u ritmu muzike za ples🎶

Kisses from Croatia, I'll talk to you soon!

Summer outfits vol. 8: Coastal walk

Hello lovelies!

Here are some photos from the beautiful coastal walk Volosko- Opatija, and I'm so lucky to have all this beauty right in front of my nose :-)

We often go for walks here, being close to the sea is wonderful, all year round!

I wore this cute little outfit that I put together from some second hand finds, and from some vintage stuff of my own.

I bought these Max Mara sunglasses when I was still in high school, and they were my first designer sunglasses :-) I recently discovered them in my old closet at my Mum's place! I was so excited to realize that I still have them! I was pretty sure I no longer own them!

Sometimes discovering some old and "forgotten" faves is better than shopping for new items!

Outfit details:

Sunglasses: Vintage Max Mara

Blose: Second hand

Jeans: Sinsay

Leather bag: Second hand

Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith

And what about my hair colour? Well, I just touched up my roots with L'Oreal box hair dye Creme Excellence Cool Blondes in 7.11

I filmed a review video and you can check it out here:

I think it's a good colour for touching up the roots and if you're going for that dark, natural blonde.

I'll try not to colour my hair during the whole of September and then go to my hairdresser in October, to get some highlights (as my hair is getting quite dark, so I feel like I'm ready to bring the blondie in me back!)

I'll talk to you soon, have a nice day :-)

I like comfy and sporty outfits for running errands, but with a twist of chic, shall we put it like that :-)

Here are the outfit details:

Baseball cap: New Era (second hand, but I painted it this vibrant fuchsia colour, as originally it was pale rose and it had a stain when I bought it!)

T-shirt: Sinsay

Bag: GAP (almost vintage piece, bought in 2004. when I first visited London, UK)

Leggings: Adidas

Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith (second hand)

Rose gold watch: Fossil

Summer outfits vol.6: Primark's beach dress

Hello loves!

I'm back with another outfit post, again from my fave place, the beach of Cizici at the island of Krk in Croatia. It's truly a magical place for me, where I feel very relaxed and at peace. You'll probably see some more posts from this beautiful place!

As I've already mentioned, this summer I didn't buy any new clothing items, but everything that I bought was second hand! I managed to find great deals and such cool pieces and I was able to totally renew my wardrobe for just a fraction of the price of what I would have usually spent!

This lovely knitted beach dress is also second hand (originally from Primark) and this summer it was my most worn item for the beach, because it's just so easy to just throw on, and it looks great!

My headband is from H&M (I've had it for many years), it's that Missoni style that's always in!

Sunglasses are from Pepco, very cheap and very lightweight and I absolutely love this shape.

I hope you like this look!

Tell me all about your happy place! :-)

I'll talk to you soon, I have a couple of more summer outfit posts to share with you before the September ends!

Summer outfits vol.5: Second hand fashion

Hello guys!

Here is one photo session "in the movement". I find, lately, that those kind of photos are quicker to take and also they turn out better than when you actually pose.

I'm wearing all second hand here, except for the old Zara sunglasses that I bought on sales in Italy.

I fell in love with second hand fashion long before it even became a "trend"! I volunteered in a charity shop in London, West Ealing, back in 2005. and I still to this date have some great pieces of clothing from that store, such as these Replay jeans that I wear here in these pics!

When I bought them, they were brand new, with a tag still on, and they were a bit too big on me! But I was so happy that I found such popular and great quality brand of jeans, for just a couple of pounds, I didn't even mind that they were a bit too wide. Now they're a perfect a fit, which makes me wonder, did I have such a small waist back then, huh? Also, back then low waist jeans were more popular, and everybody wore skinny models, whereas these, as you can see, are high waisted and wider model (super popular now, almost 20 years later!).

I'm also selling a lot of my clothes at a local Croatian website, where I have set up my little closet. If you know some good on line stores where I could sell internationally, let me know! Is depop still the most popular? I'm also a bit hesitant because I don't know if the shipping costs are too high, I mean, is it worth it? I have to inform myself a bit more about it!

I'd love to give it a shot, so all my blog readers and international audience could get something from my closet :-)

Your ideas and suggestions are very much welcomed!

Outfit details:

Top: Zara (second hand)

Jeans: Replay (second hand, from Pdsa charity shop in West Ealing)

Leather sandals: Next (second hand)

Bag: Mango (second hand)

Sunglasses: Zara

Necklace: from the early 2000's, bought from local street musicians from Latin America

I'll talk to you soon guys! I'm going to start sharing very soon other topics on my blog, to bring back a bit of diversity, such as wish lists, beauty product reviews, and also about old post cards (which I'm already posting on my instagram so take a look!)
