It is a rainy day here in Italy, today I'm off work so I slept until late, still "recovering" from yesterday's waking up at 5.00 a.m. to go to work!
Even though I was very sleepy throughout the day yesterday, I managed to stay productive, so I kept doing things even in the late afternoon hours- I organised my closet and cleaned my room...& today I still have tons of housework to do...
But first things first!
My blog! hihi ;)
I'm so overdue on this review...
My video on Avon Anew Rejuvenate line has already been up on my channel for a good week or so!
If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it here:
In this video I'm going through all the three products that I was using from this line.
I did purchase even the fourth product, the Anew Rejuvenate Day Cream, but at the time I had a lot of daily moisturizers to go through, and my Mum really needed a day cream- ao I left that product to her!
Even though this line was created for 30+ group age, and my Mum is in her late 50., she still thought this was a great cream for her and she was really pleased with it- I asked her! :)
So these are the products that I was using & that I'll be reviewing today:
1.) ANEW Rejuvenate Revitalising 2-in-1 Gel Cleanser
This product has got a very light texture and absorbs really well into the skin in a matter of seconds!
Non irritating, never broke me out.
It illuminates your skin as it has got a slightly rose-irridescent tint to it.
I was using this product only in the mornings, before applying my foundation.
You can use this product in a combination with a day cream in a way that: You apply this concentrate first, then leave it to absorb into your skin, then apply your daily moisturizer and then apply your foundation.
But I personally never really did that, as I feel my skin doesn't need all these products!
This Revitalizing Concentrate alone is an awesome make up base, actually!
Contains 30ml of the product.
3.) ANEW Rejuvenate 24 Hour Eye Cream Night/Day
This little pot contains both day and night eye cream (2x 10ml).
The day cream is a slightly bit thicker in a consistency (comparing to the night cream-gel).
It is a white cream that absorbs really well and leaves your delicate under eye area well moisturized.
The night cream is a gel- consistency and it leaves your under eye area feeling refreshed and hydrated.
Both of these creams work in a prevention of forming of the fine lines and first wrinkles and attenuate the already existing ones.
This line will leave your skin feeling revitalised, fresh & very hydrated.
It is a very good introduction to the first anti-ageing skincare treatments.
It is pretty convenient price- wise.
All the products are very gentle and they won't cause any irritation to your skin, or any breakouts.
That's why this line is suitable for all skin types.
You don't necessarilly have to be in a goup age 30+ to start using this line.
As it is very gentle, non-irritating and very hydrating, it is suitable even for the girls in their mid 20.!
I hope this was a helpful review to anyone of you thinking about trying the first anti- ageing products, or this line in particular!
While filming my video, I managed to take a few quick pics of two of my favourite outfits (ideal for going out at night- special occasions!)
The top I'm wearing on the pics above is a sparkly/beaded top from H&M.
I got it recently on midseason sale for cca 10 €.
I like the contrast between this delicate powdery pink top & black leather!
It makes the outfit stand out, which makes it ideal for some sort of a special event/occasion, or just going out at night, clubbing...
I accessorized the look with my big sparkly bracelet that I got this summer here in Italy, in a big warehouse, where they sell a bit of everything, actually!
I got it for 14€, but other accessories stores were selling these bracelets for more than 40€!!!
I'm so glad I managed to get my hands on it for only 14€!
I fell in love with this bracelet...I actually saw this exact model of bracelet on a client of ours at work...I had to ask her where did she get it, as it caught my attention immediately & I knew I was on a mission to find it! ;)
This gorgeous electric blue silk blouse is a present from my dear granny ♥
She wore this blouse a lot, but the material is such an amazing quality that it is still in a perfect condition.
I love the combo of a billowy, silk blouse with a more tight leather shorts.
It makes the outfit classy as opposed to trashy if pairing these shorts with something tight on the top as well!
These here are my favourite booties to wear with my leather shorts:
Grey slouch boots.
Bought last year in one small italian boutique called
"Imaty's Fashion Factory"
This season's purchase:
Suede-like calf high black booties.
Extra high heels, but still quite comfy.
These booties make your legs appear so elegant & lean!
Hope you enjoyed my little styling ideas around the (faux) leather shorts!
In my videos & previous blog posts, I mentioned that I'm thinking about buying a high-waisted black leather skirt...
So, just to quickly update you: I did get it! Yeay!
I've been very productive today, I worked early this morning, then went to do a weekly grocery shopping...it is a rainy & kind of a chilly day, but that didn't stop me to go for a walk around the local open market (where I live, it happens twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays...given the fact that I always work on Saturdays, I really wanted to go today & check out for the good deals & bargains!)
I also wanted to buy a material & beads for my jewellery, but unfortunately, due to the rain, the guys that usually sell beads & stuff didn't show up! :(
However, I'm still glad I went to the market because I did get a black skull scarf for only 3€, the famous Kelly...inspired... dark red bag for 29€ and the most adorable black & grey wool cape for only 5€!!!
I haven't taken the pics, but I'll show these items to you in one of my incoming haul videos, or featuring them in my OOTD videos :)
Talking about the OOTD videos, here is another one that is new on my MissFashionKitty channel:
I filmed this video a while ago and I had it in the files of my computer, so I edited it & re-uploaded...as I believe it is still very authentic!
Leopard print gilet is an item that is great for Fall/Winter season & you can style it in so many different ways...and wear it for.... from casual to special occasions...any occasion basically! ♪♪
You can also check out the video that I have on my eipysgudps channel where I'm giving you more ideas for the complete stylings around the leopard print gilet:
& here are some pics of the looks:
Break the everyday "all black" with a leopard print gilet & add
some fun to your styling!
A styling for "going out at night": black mini dress with shiny leggings, a black turtleneck & a
"Rocker/chic girl" with leather look leggings & black high heeled booties!
Office- work style.
Military green & grey are always trendy colours for the Fall season.
Add a bit of colour: I'm wearing my bright coloured silk scarf with adorable cats print!
Casual look with boyfriend fit (skinny leg) jeans & a big, brown vintage bag.
Youthful/ trendy look: Cute print T-shirt, lots of layered chunky bracelets,
boyfriend fit, skinny leg jeans & another vintage bag!
I hope you liked the looks!
Which one is your favourite and why?
Hopefully this blog post & my videos give you some ideas on what to wear in this rainy Fall season, to make your Fall less dull & gloomy! ;)
My Sunday was lovely, and I'm not going to tell you anything else on the subject now, because I'm preparing a vlog & a blog post about it! ;)
Hopefully I'll manage to edit everything by tomorrow evening...tomorrow morning I have to wake up sooo early, I'm scared to even think about it!
I'll be working from 5:45 a.m. till 9.00 a.m. UGHHHH
I don't even have the right words to express my feelings about it!
I'll have to wake up at 5.00 a.m. - at this early hour, even the roosters are still sleeping!!!
Fortunately, this horrific work schedule happens only once a year, so I'll just have to bear with it- it'll pass too- like everything else does!
At least today I'm free, and then again, after tomorrow, I'll be free until Thursday...here are some comforting thoughts...
Anyways, let's get back ON TOPIC!
Today I have a review of dr. Hauschka Organic Skincare line.
I've done a video where talking about my experience with this brand...I have tried quite a few products from dr. Hauschka, but in this review, I'm more concentrated on reviewing the famous dr.Hauschka "Rose Day Cream" and a Lip Balm (in a jar), the two products that I'm currently using from the brand.
You can watch my review video here:
More about dr.Hauschka philosphy:

Rather than masking or covering up skin conditions, dr. Hauschka products work with the skin, treating it as an integral part of the human being. These holistic preparations meet all skin needs, addressing specific conditions rather than skin types because skin has the ability to change- to become balanced and harmonious.

They have never tested on animals and are opposed to this form of testing. Furthermore, no aspect of nature is damaged in any process, including animals and people.
The two products I'm currently loving from dr.Hauschka:
Rose Day Cream & Lip Balm
I like & recommend the Lip Balm!
It is very moisturizing & nourishing on my lips.
The little jar contains 4.2 g/0.14 Oz of the product and my only complaint is that I usually finish this product in a two weeks' time!
It is a bit too expensive for such a small amount of the product :( The ingredients:Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Hypericum Perforatum Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Silk (Serica) Powder, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Bran Extract, Lecithin, Fragrance (Parfum), Citronellol*, Geraniol*, Linalool*, Farnesol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Alcohol*, Benzyl Salicylate* *Component of natural essential oils Suitable for all skin conditions
Intensive soothing care for dry, chapped lips, this rich balm promotes skin renewal as it moisturizes and softens. Lip Balm provides a translucent shine and helps visibly reduce fine lines around the mouth.
Calendula and St. John'swort extracts encourage renewal
Silk and anthyllis strengthen delicate lip tissue
Jojoba and wheat germ oils moisturize and protect
Natural botanical ingredients do not encourage dependency
It retails at $ 16.95
I usually buy it at my local pharmacy, or a herbalist store.
My lips get very dry, especially in winter time, so this lip balm is definitely my life, actually, lip saver!
dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Rose oil and wild Rose hip extract envelop the skin with a protective nurturing film. This rich, beautifully scented cream, with the extract of over 1,075 organic Rose petals in each tube, strengthens the skin and soothes redness and couperose conditions. The skin is encouraged to repair and restore itself as well as being calmed and smoothed.
This is a Dr.Hauschka 2011 Hero product. Hero products are all highly-revered, award-winning products that produce brilliant, beautiful skin.
Regenerates the epidermis (the top layer of the skin).
Helps the skin to maintain its moisture level.
I was really excited to try out this cream by dr. Hauschka, but I should have gone for the "light" version of it! My skin is oily/combination and this particular cream is meant for a very dry/sensitive/mature skin. It is a bit too oily for my skin type. I find that I can't use this product in summer, but just in a very cold winter days, or if I'm on a vacations in the mountains.
I can use it during the day only if I'm applying my Bare Minerals foundation on top- in this case it is a perfect base. Otherwise, if I'm applying just a regular foundation or a tinted moisturizer, it'll make my skin appear extremely shiny- ughhh!!!!
I also like to use it at night- even though from dr.Hauschka laboratories they advise not using the night cream, as our skin has the best ability to renew itself at night without the "help" of night creams! (...at night, skin should be cleansed, then conditioned or toned. Night creams are not recommended and may actually be counterproductive in that they do not allow the skin to "breathe" and perform its natural metabolic functions during the night...)
