Party Season Must-Haves

Hello beauties!

The holidays are just around the corner and the party season atmosphere is in the air. Shopping malls are drenched in holiday decor trying to attract customers around the busiest shopping season of the year. Now that we're in December, it's time to decorate the Christmas tree and add a warmth and coziness to our homes.

I decided to write this post about my party season must haves and I hope this is going to be interesting for you and that you'll maybe pick up a thing or two from my list! Also, don't forget to share with me your must haves for the Christmas holidays in the comments below!

Red nail polish indeed makes everything more festive! These are truly my must haves for this time of the year, I love both shades: 03 by Mavala is more of a vibrant red but "Rouge Savage" by L'Oreal is also a true red and perfect for Christmas time.

Party season calls for sparkly body mist! If it's caramel scented, even better! This one is from H&M and it's a scented body splash with glitter. You can layer it over your usual body lotion, too.

Tissue face & eyes masks are a must-have for prepping your skin for the party season. You want to look (and feel) your best and these masks can perform little miracles in less than 30 minutes! I love these under eye masks by Shiseido Benefiance and tissue face masks by Mitomo.

With just a few drops of your favorite perfume, it's already Christmas! I love, love, love Angel by Thierry Mugler, especially in the winter season, as it's quite a bold and strong scent that can't be passed unrecognized!

Christmas time is a time for family gatherings and also office parties and just many occasions to wear something festive! I always add some sparkles and sequins to my outfit just to make it a bit more festive! In this photo, I have details of my old Zara Exquisite Embellished Multicolored Beaded Sequin Bomber Jacket which is super cute and covered in sequins that I wear whenever the right occasion comes along.

I hope you liked my ideas! What are some of yours beauty / fashion essentials when it comes to holidays and party season? Do share!

Button Up Plaid Jacket Fall OOTD | Rosegal & H&M

Hello lovelies!

Today I have a quick outfit post to share with you! I wore this outfit for work this past weekend and I asked my hubby to take a few photos so I could show you how was I dressed. Finding time to take outfit photos, these days isn't so easy as we have our hands full with our little boy, but I also wanted to show you my new jacket that I recently got from Rosegal, so taking a few photos was a must!

I love this button up plaid jacket and it's currently on sale for $25.30 and it's available in size L only. But, bear in mind that it fits snug like a XS, it's definitely not a Large! It's cute and warm, even though this week I couldn't wear only this jacket, as outside it's much colder weather than past week.

High waisted pants are from H&M, and they're my recent purchase and the cozy brown sweater is from a couple of years ago.

There is a Rosegal try on fashion haul on my channel, if you want to check it out:

I hope you liked this outfit & the video!
Let me know what is your favorite clothing item this season?

OOTD: Pom Pom Sweater

Hello lovelies!

Today I have a quick outfit post to share.
This is actually the outfit I shared on Glam Express a good couple of weeks ago (when the weather was still quite cold), but I forgot to post it here!
So here is what I wrote...
Since the weather here in Italy is still quite cold and Spring time seems like still far away, I'm still mostly in my cozy and warm sweaters.
This year, I picked up quite a few chunky knit sweaters online, among other places, Zaful too was one of my destinations for good shopping.
I spotted this oversized pom pom sweaters and thought it was super cute!

I wore it a lot this winter and since today the weather is again very gloomy and chilly, I decided to pull it out of my closet again!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Zaful  Oversized Pom Pom Sweater
Zara Ripped Boyfriend Jeans
H&M Pink Tights

I wore it with my ripped, boyfriend fit Zara jeans and I put a pair of pink tights (H&M) underneath.
I don't think wearing tights underneath ripped jeans is very cool, but hey, does it matter?
I seem to like it and I needed that extra layer today :-)
Let me know how do you like this look!
I think this sweater is just too cute!
How's the weather like where you live, has the Spring arrived yet?

xo from a chilly Italy!

I'll be back soon with new posts! Have a nice weekend everyone!

Pure Mineral Dead Sea Cosmetics Wine Collection Anti Aging Nourishing Mineral Night Cream With Collagen

Hello beauties!
Today's post is a review of this night time moisturizer for all skin types, from Pure Mineral Cosmetics.
A few months ago, I started a collaboration with them and they sent me some of their best selling beauty products for skin and body care to test out.

In  this video you can see a little introduction to my collaboration with them, as well as unboxing the package and having a peek at the products.

The first product I decided to review is the Nourishing Mineral Night Cream With Collagen, as I already used it up completely.

This is an alcohol, paraben and mineral oil free nourishing cream meant for night time skin care.

I really enjoyed using it as it was moisturizing enough for my dry skin and was leaving me with fresh and smooth skin.

You can check out my full video review of this cream here:

This cream is enriched with natural Dead Sea minerals, avocado oil (rich in amino-acids and a source of vitamin D), carrot oil (rich in beta carotene), shea butter (replenishes the skin's moisture), collagen (refines and softens tired, mature skin and gives it a smooth, youthful and rejuvenated appearance), aloe vera plant extract (moisturizes and soothes skin), and Vitamins A and E, which are vital to natural skin cell regeneration.

This cream is recommended for age group 30+, but it can be used even on younger, or more mature skin.

This cream definitely got a thumbs up from me.

Have you ever tried any of the products from Pure Mineral Dead Sea Cosmetics?

I saw online reviews which are mostly praising the quality of the products but customers are concerned about their aggressive sales techniques! We don't have this store in Italy, so I can't have my say in this matter, but one thing is certain: I try to stay away from brands with aggressive sales techniques. For example, I love Yves Rocher cosmetics and I tried a lot of their products already but recently, I had a very negative experience in their store (the sales assistant really went out of her limit to try and push some products on me that I don't really need!). After this experience, my entire opinion on the brand went downhill, and even though I love the products, I can't bring myself to step into their store anytime soon :-/
So, let me know, are the rumors regarding Pure Mineral Dead Sea Cosmetics brand true? If they're indeed promoting this aggressive sales techniques, I'd like to step out as a blogger and give them my feedback, together with yours! Because, we are the consumers and our opinion should matter to brands!!!

I'll talk to you soon!

Baby It's Cold Outside OOTD

Hello beauties!

Today I have an outfit post to share with you! This is an outfit which preview I shared yesterday on my instagram :-)
These photos were taken when we went as a family to have sunday lunch and gathering with our friends from Alfa Romeo Club, here in Italy.

It was a nice, sunny, but cold winter day, so I had to dress warm and put lots of layers (but I still wanted my outfit to look festive and I hope I managed to achieve that!)

I'll remember this event because we all our enjoyed ourselves and my little son also, he was so good, he enjoyed tasting food all by himself, he didn't cry at all or get bored and we stayed there for a lot of hours (basically until the evening hours!).
He was only 10 months old and everybody praised him and his good behavior!
We ate a lot, great Italian food, we laughed and overall it was a lovely family day! I hope we get to repeat something similar sometime soon!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Jacket - Mango
Overcoat - Zara
Jeans - H&M
Bag - Zara
Boots - Dr. Martens
Scarf, hat, gloves - Variety

I hope you also had lovely times with your loved ones this holiday season!

xoxo from Italy,

Product Of The Month: Clinique Beauty Sleeping Mask

Hello beauties!
In this post, I'd like to talk to you about the product I've been loving this month and it's not a recent purchase, but I found myself using it most often in this period of time.
I'm talking about Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask.

It's one of those popular beauty sleeping masks, that you leave on your face overnight, whilst they do their own little miracle on your face.
When I first purchased this mask (at my local Sephora), I used it once or twice a week (mostly when I felt my skin needed some extra love).
In this period of time, I've been reaching for it much more often. I'm using it as a part of my regular night time skincare routine, every night, before going to sleep, instead of my night time cream.
My skin is quite dry in this period of time (as we're heading towards winter, plus, I'm still breastfeeding, which can also dry out the skin), and I feel that this overnight beauty treatment is just what my skin needs.
It's very moisturizing but non greasy, so it's suitable for all skin types, and if your skin is extra dry (such as mine), you can even use it every night! It absorbs really quickly and it leaves my skin soft and plump. I can feel it's very gentle product for my skin and overall my skin loves it! Lately, I've been adding a few drops of vitamin E to this mask, to make this nourishing treatment even more intense and anti-aging.

I can add that, I generally am a fan of Clinique products, especially the moisture surge line, agrees with my skin's needs. This product is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free, so it's recommended even for sensitive skin types.
I really recommend you to try out this product!
Let me know have you already tried this beauty sleeping mask by Clinique, or any other similar product from different brand?
I also love the Shiseido and Yves Rocher overnight beauty treatments, so if you like, I can talk to you about these products next!

xoxo, from Italy,

This Month's Empties (October)

Hello beauties!
This month as well, I have 5 products that I've used up, to share with you.
To me personally, "empties" are always interesting, as I can get some good recommendations or find out which products are not that worth of hype!
So let's see together, my empties for this month.
  • Garnier Dry Body Oil (Olive Extract)
  • Dove Bath Foam
  • Batist Dry Shampoo
  • Nivea Q 10 Serum Pearls
  • Garnier Cocoa and Coconut Oil Hair Conditioner

There's a couple hair products that I'd like to talk to you about.
Garnier Hair Conditioner with Cocoa and Coconut Oil Extract. This product is very affordable price wise and it's overall a good conditioner: It has got a pleasant scent and it's quite creamy and moisturizing. It leaves your hair straight and soft and I love the scent!
If you don't want to splurge on expensive high end hair care products, this one is a good drugstore buy!
For ages I was convinced that the Batist Dry Shampoo was the popular "Batiste" Dry Shampoo, only an Italian version of it. But then I realized this was made in Italy and other than a very similar name, it doesn't have much to do with the famous "Batiste" dry shampoo. This one will do the job, but it's more of an "old school" dry shampoo. It comes only in this version, whereas the "Batiste" one comes in many different varieties and let's face it, it's way more fun to use!
Unfortunately, in Italy (at least in my area) we don't have the "Batiste" one (I buy it when I'm in Croatia), so "Batist" it was this time! I wasn't too impressed and if I can avoid buying it again, I will.
I'll much rather opt for the awesome Klorane Dry Shampoo then, which is available at our local pharmacies.
"Batist"  I have to say was kind of a "no-no" for me.

Next I have two body care products.
Dove Bath Foam was very creamy and nourishing, nicely scented and was leaving my skin soft and moisturized. It's a drugstore product, so very affordable. I would buy it again, maybe trying out other scents, as it comes in a variety of different options.
Garnier Dry Body Oil was a true discovery for me right after I gave birth. I was very busy with my newborn son and also quite weak in the postpartum period, so I didn't have much time, or strength to do my usual everyday beauty routine. However I didn't want to neglect myself, so after taking a shower, this oil was the best for a quick nourishment! I loved everything about it: how easy it was to apply, quick to absorb and it's beautifully scented. I most certainly will buy it again. It's also great if you don't have much time to dedicate to your beauty routine after showering!

Last is one face care product: Nivea Q 10 Serum Pearls. I bought this at my local drugstore even before I got pregnant. I started using it, but then I had to stop for a while, as during my pregnancy (especially in the first trimester) the scent of this product was making me sick!
I started using it again not that long ago and I just recently used it up. I was using this as a serum, before my daily moisturizer. The yellow pearls turn into a creamy consistency as soon as you press the pump and it's non greasy and easy to absorb. I don't mind the scent anymore but I do wish it was less scented. This way it looks too artificial, so I doubt I'll be buying it again.

My favourite product from these empties is definitely Garnier Dry Body Oil! I absolutely love & recommend it!
If you get a chance to try it out, please let me know your opinions!

My Summer Fashion Story

Hello beauties!
I wanted to put together a few of my favorite photos from this summer and through them, tell you my own summer fashion story...
This is our first summer as parents, so it was definitely new and different to us. And when I say "different" I honestly mean better, because even though I didn't have "me time" to lay on the beach and take loads of outfit photos, my little son brings me so much joy and happiness and fulfills my life in a way that I really, honestly don't miss anything from past summers, when it was just me & my hubby.

Luckily, my hometown is full of coastal walks, so instead of laying at the beach all day long, we preferred going for relaxing, long walks by the sea with our little son.
For those occasions, I would wear my flowy, "easy breezy" summer dresses. I particularly like the one I'm wearing in this photo, because it's very lightweight and the print is lovely! It also comes with this golden necklace detail, so you don't need to worry about accessorizing it!
I bought it a few summers back at a Bershka store on sales and it's still one of my "go to" summer dresses.

When we went to the beach, it was in the late afternoon hours and this photo tells you that I kept things practical, when it comes to my beach outfits: jeans shorts are always a must and I combined them with colorful bikini tops and a straw material fedora.
I love this photo where my hubby managed to capture the waves in the movement: our Adriatic Sea is usually calm, nothing like the Ocean, but on some days, it can show its temper.

Of course, we HAD to buy a little swimming pool! Lol, just big enough to fit all 3 of us. We had so much fun in it as my little boy was splashing the water and clapping his hands and moving his legs, laughing and enjoying himself!
I would go in the pool for a quick refreshment before breakfast, to awake myself and start the day with a smile.
Also, I managed to visit my hairdresser, so that was another reason to smile, thanks to her, I'm a blondie again!

It was good to pamper myself after exactly one year since I went to have my hair done...I needed it! Blonde hair is the best accessory, I don't need any makeup...well, maybe just a really cool pair of sunglasses (like these ones from Matthew Williamson that I picked at H&M years ago!). The white swimsuit is also from H&M. I find these one piece swimsuits to be very elegant and flattering!

Evening walks by the sea were priceless! Even when the weather was promising rain, we feared not!
I love how beautiful my hometown is! For this evening walk I was wearing my ripped skinny jeans by H&M, floral top by an italian brand Francomina, little Zara bag and comfy Adidas sneakers.

All good things come to an end, so that's how we also had to return to the reality of our lives in Italy...Upon our arrival, one package that was waiting for me, made our return a bit sweeter...
When you receive a cool swimsuit like that, you know that summer isn't over just yet!
I'm looking forward to some sun in September and hopefully another quick holiday by the sea.

I hope you liked my summer fashion story.

How was your summer?

POSTCARDS FROM ROVINJ, CROATIA: OLD TOWN & ST. EUFEMIJA CHURCH ♥

ENG: Hello from Rovinj, Croatia! Rovinj is a beautiful little touristic town, situated in the peninsula Istra in Croatia.
We went there for a day trip and to shoot a vlog for my Glam Express column, "Postcards from...", that I occasionally film for my Glam Express' readers!
You can check out my little Glam Express corner here!
Anyway, back to this post...You're actually going to see two posts from Rovinj, as I don't want to overload you with photos in one post! In this post I'm taking you around the Rovinj's old town centre, and to St. Eufemija church, and the upcoming post will feature some of the most beautiful Rovinj's beaches :-)
I wore this lovely summer dress that I picked on sales at Piazza Italia, and this cute pom pom beach bag from Carpisa :-)

Watch my vlog on youtube here!

Pogledajte vlogic ovdje!
