In the park of Delnice...

ENG: When I was in Croatia, one day I went to the town in the mountain region of Gorski kotar, called Delnice... Of course I went to Delnice! Basically all my family comes from that little town, and my uncle still lives there with his family. I have only the nicest childhood memories when I think of Delnice. I decided to shoot an outfit post in the park of Delnice, which is a really beautiful location and certainly a refreshment on my blog!
These heels I'm wearing on the photos tied in perfectly with the rest of the outfit, but needless to say, as soon as the photo shoot was over, I switched into my cozy flats :-) I was in the middle of the wood, after all...who can be spotted wearing heels? Only a fashion blogger, lol ;-)

HR: Dok sam boravila u Hrvatskoj, jedan dan "skoknula" sam do Delnica...naravno da sam otisla do Delnica! Gotovo cijela moja obitelj dolazi bas iz tog malog grada u srcu Gorskog kotra, a moje najljepse uspomene iz djetinjstva vezane su i uz Delnice. Moj stric jos uvijek tamo zivi sa obitelji, tako da uvijek imam razloga za posjet!
Odlucila sam snimiti outfit post u Delnickom parku, to je zaista predivna lokacija i pravo osvjezenje na mom blogu!
Sandale na visoku petu posluzile su samo kao "rekvizit" za potrebe slikanja, nakon sto je "session" bio gotov, vratila sam se svojim udobnim cipelicama na ravnu petu! Ipak smo bili usred sume! Tko ce biti vidjen da na takvom mjestu nosi visoke pete? To moze biti samo modna blogerica! ;-)

Rijeka. Boardwalk. Summer.

ENG: It's almost midnight on a Sunday night and I have a long day at work behind me, but I wanted to sit down and write this post, before I unwind and relax on my sofa, watching a good TV show...
These photos were taken when I was on my summer vacations in Croatia, and this is my hometown Rijeka. We took a lot of outfit photos while I was in Croatia, and as I wasn't able to post from there as frequently as I normally do, now on my computer files I still have a lot of outfit photos from this summer. I hope you're still going to enjoy them, even though chillier days are here already!
Also, when I have a moment free, I tend to shoot as many outfit posts as I can, so I can later on post them with regular frequency.

HR: Skoro je pola noci, a ja u nedjelju navecer imam iza sebe dosta dug i naporan dan na poslu. Ipak prije nego sto se krenem opustati na kaucu uz neku dobru TV seriju, htjela sam vam postaviti ovaj post na blog...
Fotografije su snimljene ovog ljeta kada sam boravila u Hrvatskoj, a ovo je riva mog grada, Rijeke. Puno smo outfit fotki snimili dok sam boravila u Rijeci, a buduci da nisam imala mogucnosti od tamo postati svaki dan, ili toliko cesto, koliko inace to cinim, desila se situacija da sada na fileovima kompjutera imam jos puno ljetnih fotki za objaviti!
Nadam se da ce vam se svejedno svidjeti, iako su vec hladniji dani pred nama.
Isto tako, htjela sam vam reci da kada uhvatim slobodni trenutak, nastojim uvijek fotkati vise outfita, kako bih ih poslije mogla redovito objavljivati na blogu. Zbog mog i muzevog posla nismo uvijek u mogucnosti snimati svaki tjedan, a buduci da ne zelim da gap izmedju postova bude prevelik, nastojim uvijek napraviti "malu zalihu za susne dane", ili kako bih se vec izrazila haha... Bez daljnjeg duljenja, evo fotki s rijecke rive ;-)

Sammydress.com Fashion Collab: Trendy Sweater OOTD ♥

ENG: Remind me not to take outfit photos on Sundays when I work... I was tired. And this clearly shows in my photos! I can't even bring myself to post the ones where I'm not wearing sunglasses.
I had a long weekend at work, and Saturday after work we went to celebrate our friend's birthday...we stayed up celebrating until late!
Sunday I was working again, and before work I had to squeeze in this quick photoshoot...
I'm not 23 anymore (actually I'm a whole decade older!), and I can't hide the signs of tiredness and fatigue on my face. When I don't get enough sleep, this clearly shows on my face and no amount of make up can cover it up (actually, on those days it's better to go for a light make up, as I find caking on too much make up actually makes it worse!).
Now why was so urgent to bring you this outfit post today?
I don't know. I'm wondering that myself. I received this sweater from sammydress.com past week and they insisted I put the post up ASAP!
So here it is, not quite as good as it could have been, but I find from my personal experience, rushing things in life in general, never brings great results. Oh well...
I hope sammydress.com will be pleased!
I do love the sweater, it's very cozy, soft, fluffy and warm! And it's also very trendy :-)
I paired it with my white Levi's, my new pink coat from Bershka and my "good, old" Dr.Marten's (well, not so "old", but you know...comfy for a day at work that was ahead of me!). Also, I think wearing my dr.Martens boots created a cool contrast against my pretty, pink coat. What do you guys say?

HR: Podsjetite me da se ne fotografiram za outfit postove u nedjelju kada moram na posao...Bila sam umorna. I to se jasno odrazava u fotografijama! A da ne govorimo o onima koje necete vidjeti, gdje nisam nosila naocale!
Radni vikend na poslu uvijek me izmori, a u subotu navecer nakon posla bili smo pozvani i na rodjendansku proslavu naseg prijatelja...ostali smo u drustvu i slavili do kasno!
U nedjelju sam ponovno radila, a prije posla trebalo je "ugurati" ovaj mali photo session kako bih vam mogla prezentirati outfit u danasnjem postu. Ja nemam vise 23 (cekajte malo, ja sam cijelo jedno desetljece starija od 23!), znakovi umora jednostavno se ne daju sakriti na mom licu. Ukoliko se nisam dobro odmorila i fino naspavala, to ce se primjetiti na mojem licu i nema te sminke koja to moze sakriti (cak sam primjetila da je u tim trenucima bolje ici sa laganim make-upom, nego naslagati na lice cijelu silu sminke, to ce samo pogorsati stvari!)
No zbog cega je bilo tako bitno predstaviti vam ovaj outfit post danas? Ne znam. To se i sama pitam. Majica koju vam predstavljam u ovom outfitu stigla mi je prosli tjedan sa sammydress.com web ducana. Oni su inzistirali da vam ju predstavim sto prije!
Moje iskustvo je pokazalo da pozurivanje stvari, generalno, u zivotu nikada ne donosi zadovoljavajuce rezultate, pa tako ni ove fotke nisu spektakularne...a mogle su biti puno bolje da mi je bila dopustena kreativna sloboda i mogucnost odabira pravog trenutka.
Ja uvijek dajem prednost kvalitetnom sadrzaju, ali ocigledno mnogima to nije od presudne vaznosti. Nadam se da ce sammydress.com biti zadovoljan.
Outfit sam osmislila i da mi bude funkcionalan za posao. Sammydress.com majica mi se zaista jako svidja, topla je, mekana i bas trendy! Nosim ju uz svoj bijeli Levi's jeans podvijenih nogavica (zato jer je to sada cool, ha!), i novi roza kaputic iz Bershke. Na nogama nezaobilazne marte, buduci da me je cekao dug dan na poslu, a mislim i da su napravile dobar kontrast djevojackom roza kaputicu :-)

OOTD in Croatia: Layering Clothes for the Fall

Hello girlies!

Another OOTD post, this is what I was wearing past week during my stay in Croatia.

That day, we went to a little town in the mountains called Delnice, to visit some of my family that lives there!

This Fall, burgundy colour is MY colour!

I just love to wear it, it makes me :) In Fall season, I tend to dress into a quite dull colours (lots of greys, neutrals, blacks..), so I wanted to change that by adding some burgundy coloured items to my wardrobe!

These pants by H&M are so flattering on my body, being high-waisted, they really hug in your curves, and skinny model is my favourite model of pants in general!

At only 9.95€ retail price, they're a must have!

They also come in a variety of different colours, so I recommend you to check out your local H&M stores! ;)
