THE BEST MAKE UP OF 2016.

Hello lovelies! Sorry I'm running a bit late with this video and post!
In case you haven't seen my beauty faves of 2016. you can watch it here or check out my previous post! (I talked about top skin care, hair care, body care, perfumes and lip care!).
I'm getting super close to my due date, and it's a bit harder for me to get all the things done at this stage of my pregnancy. I have many ideas and projects, but not that much time (nor energy!). I'm going to try and upload 1-2 videos a week for you during January and February (I'm filming some videos in advance), so you guys will have something to watch on my channel even when I'm off, delivering my baby and in that delicate period of post partum...If you guys have any requests for the videos you'd like to see this month and in February, now it's the time to send in your requests!

I'm hoping I'll be able to post regularly, possibly more beauty / maternity posts than fashion ones, at least until I can go out & about again, shooting my outfits of the day! :-)

TOP 5 NAIL POLISH COLOURS! Collab video!

ENG: Hello loves! It's time to bring back beauty posts here on my blog! I like to have the variety of topics to write about here on my blog, but lately I was more focused on fashion aspect of my blog, than anything else! I neglected the whole beauty aspect of my blog and now I feel like balancing those two big passions of mine again in my blogging adventures :-)

Today's post is related to a recent collab video that I uploaded on my youtube channel and it was about TOP 5 BEAUTY PRODUCTS.
I did this collab with six other youtubbers, and my topic was to show you my top 5 fave nail polish colors! Narrowing it down to only 5 wasn't an easy task, but somehow I managed to do it!
I tried to select some colours that I love for spring/summer, and some that I wear mostly in autumn/winter time.

HR; Pozdrav ljepotice! Moji beauty postovi se vracaju! Moram priznati da sam u zadnje vrijeme vise paznje pridavala modnom aspektu mog bloga, a zanemarila sve beauty teme koje sam nastavila obradjivati na mojem youtube kanalu.
Buduci da volim imati raznoliki sadrzaj na blogu, nastojati cu od sada izbalansirati moje dvije strasti: modu i ljepotu, tako da i vama blog bude sto zanimljiviji i sadrzajniji!

Danasnja tema jesu mojih TOP 5 nijansi lakova za nokte! To je video collab kojega sam prosli tjedan objavila na engleskom youtube kanalu! 
Video je napravljen u suradnji sa jos sest youtuberica iz Amerike i Kanade, a tema nama svima bila je izabrati nasih top 5 beauty proizvoda.
Ja sam izabrala temu lakova za nokte; izabrati samo 5 omiljenih nije bio lak zadatak, ali uspjela sam!...nakon duzeg razmisljanja, haha...

Na temu collab videa zeljela sam jos napisati da je to odlican nacin upoznavanja kolegica youtuberica, razmjene savjeta i promicanja vlastitog, ali i tudjih kanala. Ja vec dugo radim collab videe na engleskom kanalu, ali voljela bih napraviti i collab na hrvatskom kanalu! Ukoliko i vi imate youtube kanal i zeljele biste raditi collabe, javite mi se, biti ce mi jako drago!

In my today's blog post & beauty video, I'm going to talk about my TOP 10 products that are super affordable!

It's the famous "TOP 10 UNDER 10!" TAG and I think this one is going to be pretty interesting for you guys :)

U danasnjem blog postu i beauty videu, govoriti cu o mojih TOP 10 proizvoda koji su cijenom vrlo povoljni, odlicne kvalitete, a kostaju manje od 100 kn. Radi se o poznatom "TOP 10 UNDER 10!" TAG videu, koji kruzi youtube-om i koji je po mom misljenju, vrlo zanimljiv!

Nadam se da ce vam se svidjeti ove moje male preporuke!

First of all, I'd like to recommend a few products from my favourite drugstore, DM (Drogerie Markt)...

Balea and Alverde beauty products are very affordable, yet excellent quality!

These are currently my top products from these brands:

- Balea professional hair repair oil (with argan oil)

- Balea enzym peeling face mask

- Alverde lip balms in a stick

Prije svega, izdvojila bih nekoliko proizvoda iz moje omiljene drogerije, DM-a...

Balea i Alverde proizvodi cijenom su jako pristupacni, a izuzetne kvalitete!

Ovo su trenutno moji top proizvodi od navedenih brandova:

- Balea ulje za kosu (sa arganovim uljem)

- Balea enzym peeling maska za lice

- Alverde balzami za usne (vanilija i mandarina te nevenov balzam u sticku)

Balea, Alverde, L'Oreal, Lush...

I'd also like to mention a few products by L'Oreal, these are my "Go To" products, because they're very affordable yet great at doing their job! ;)

- L'Oreal hairspray Elnett Satin (a true classic, the best among the hairsprays for more than one reason!)
- L'Oreal 3in1 Purifying Micellar Solution (rather new product on the market, but it already became a must-have in a cleansing routine of many beauty bloggers! It's very gentle at removing make up, yet very fast at doing so & with excellent results!)
- L'Oreal Elseve huile extraordinaire (another great hair care oil, somewhat comparable to the famous Elixir K Ultime!)

I do like to shop at Lush, and one of the products I keep repurchasing is their Tea Tree water toner that instantly refreshes and soothes my skin!


Voljela bih vam preporuciti i par proizvoda iz L'Oreala...
Ovo su moji top proizvodi za kojima posezem svaki dan (volim ih jer su jeftini, a odlicno rade svoj posao!):

- L'Oreal Elnett Satin sprej za kosu (pravi "klasik", najbolji lak za kosu kojeg sam ikad isprobala, iz vise razloga...o tome u vise detalja u jednom od narednih postova, iako sam vam vec pricala o tom laku za kosu i zasto ga bas toliko volim!)
- L'Oreal 3in1 Micelarna Voda za skidanje sminke (3in1 Purifying Micellar Solution).
Novija stvar na nasem trzistu; super jer efikasno skida sminku i vrlo je njezan na kozi lica i osjetljivom okoloocnom podrucju!
- L'Oreal Elseve huile extraordinaire, ulje za njegu kose koje se moze usporediti sa famoznim Elixir K Ultime uljem od Kerastasa.

Volim i kupovati u Lush-u, a proizvod kojemu se uvijek vracam jest Tea Tree Water tonik za lice.
Instantno osvjezava moju kozu lica, smiruje ju nakon skidanja sminke i daje joj tonus.
To je proizvod kojeg sam vec puno puta potrosila, pa kupila i zaista ga volim, a cijena mu je prilicno ok (oko 50tak kn, ova manja bocica).

And now, onto the make up!

My top products of the moment are certainly Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balms, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (watch my review video on this product HERE!, or read my blog post review HERE!), and Rimmel Lip Butters (I have 4, but I like them ALL!).

Sto se sminke tice, trenutni favoriti, koji se cijenom krecu ispod 100 kn, definitivno su Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm, obojeni balzami za usne koji se mogu usporediti sa Clinique Chubby Stickom (samo sto je Catrice cijenom puno povoljniji...)

O Rimmel Stay Matte kompaktnom puderu napravila sam i video recenziju (POGLEDAJ OVDJE!) i blog post (PROCITAJ OVDJE!).

Rimmel Lip Butters-i su moja opsesija i trenutno ih imam 4, ali zelim ih SVE! haha

Odlicni su, vrlo hidratantni, a prelijepih boja koje su prilicno intenzivne i kada ih nanesete na usnice! Preporucam! ;)

REQUESTED: Drugstore Make- up Starter Kit (Sonja Recommends)

It was requested for me to do this video, to talk about make up products (easily available at drugstores) that I believe everyone should have in their starter kit!

I do like drugstore make up and I believe most of the drugstore brands can stand side by side to most of the high end make up!

Why should we spend lots of money on a high end make up, when we can look fabulous even with (in most cases, great quality) drugstore brands!

I didn't always have a possibility to shop at Sephora for a high end make up& cosmetics!

Especially when I was a student, unemployed or between jobs!

I had to be very careful about where& how do I spend my money and I only had make up essentials in my, then non existing, collection.

Based on my personal experience, here is what I recommend:

My drugstore make up starter kit:

1.) Liquid Foundation

My favourite liquid foundations have always been the ones from Maybelline.

Currently I'm using the "Dream Satin Liquid" (shade 30 Sand)

2.) Compact Powder

I'm quite impressed with the Essence Mosaic powder and Catrice Multi Colour Compact powder.

Both of these brands are very affordable price-wise, yet such a good quality!

3.) Mascara

I always go back to L'oreal mascaras!

Also, loving the Rimmel's The Max Volume Flash mascara.

My first mascara ever: Max Factor (I used to love the "2000 Calorie")

4.) Blush

If you decide to purchase one of many beautiful shades of Bourjois blushes, you won't be sorry!

Take my word on that!

5.) Lipstick & Lip gloss

Rimmel again, when talking about lipsticks :)

Bourjois leads when it comes to lip glosses!

Anyways, I'm a lip gloss type of girl! I can live without a lipstick, but not without a lip gloss! lol

6.) Bronzer

These are a bit harder to find, but I had to mention them!

If you're looking for an inexpensive, but good quality mat bronzer, N.Y.C. is the one!

I know it can't be find in every drugstore (I don't even know if it's available in Europe), this was a gift from my dear friend Liz from LizYArtur youtube channel, she bought it in the US.

Bronzingold by Deliplus is exclusive to Deliplus drugstores (I believe it's then available only in Spain, correct me if I'm wrong...)

Bronzingold has got some very delicate shimmer, but nothing too dramatic, nothing that would stop me from using this bronzer on a daily basis.

7.) Eyeshadow

Whenever I'm travelling, I want to make sure that I'm bringing with me some basic eye shadows; the qualities that I'm looking for are: a good colour pay off & long lasting finish.

I don't want  to constantly have to re-touch my eyeshadows throughout the day!

I need the colours that are perfect for pulling off a day look & also a night, smokey eye look, easily& effortlessly.

8.) Eye pencil, Eye shadow base/primer, All Over Highlighter

Girls, I don't know how many of you have tried the Manhattan make up & whether it's available worldwide (uhmmm..probably not :( It's a german brand), but they have the best highlighters ever!!!

I have the limited edition one, "Pearls of Tahiti", but every now & then they come up with a similar highlighter.

Every time I see a new highlighter by Manhattan, I wish to buy it! Even though I don't need another one, lol

So these are all the products from my starter kit!
