One lovely afternoon at Ambassador hotel in Opatija

 

Hello lovelies!

Here is just a quick post about the lovely afternoon we spent as a family, in the hotel Ambassador in Opatija.

We were invited to attend the event that was organized by Italian embassy and that was something nice for a change! I wore H&M´s dress and old Mango suede boots, everything was very polished and fancy.

I used to work there for a couple of weeks as a part of my high school education but it was many years ago, and since then, they obviously made some changes and improvements to the entire hotel.

A lot has changed since the late 90-ies!!!

The day was windy and rainy (it was actually the beginning of summer, I think we were still in Spring time when this event took place), but the view of our Kvarner bay and Cres and Krk islands are always breathtaking!

My little son also enjoyed being there and he behaved really well! When he was tired, we returned home, unfortunately just before the dinner, so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the good food, but we had some delicious sweets instead :-)

One relaxing Sunday afternoon at the town Bakar

 

Hello lovelies!

As promised, I'll try to update my blog more often :-)

This time I want to share just a couple of photos taken one Sunday afternoon at the town Bakar, in Croatia.

It's going to be like a little photo diary, and I'll try to post this type of content more often.

So, the story behind these photos is: It was a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon spent in a company of my family. We went with my Mum to a nearby little town called Bakar, to spend some quality time together, take a walk by the sea and eat some good food at a local dining place that we've been visiting for years now, as the seafood is really delicious there :-)

As the day of my birthday I spent visiting the island of Brijuni with my hubby and my son and some friends, the next weekend was the time to celebrate with my Mum, and just enjoy each other's company and little joys of life.

For the occasion I wore:

(fun fact: EVERYTHING is second hand- except for the sunnies, but they're quite old too!)

POSTCARDS FROM ROVINJ, CROATIA: OLD TOWN & ST. EUFEMIJA CHURCH ♥

ENG: Hello from Rovinj, Croatia! Rovinj is a beautiful little touristic town, situated in the peninsula Istra in Croatia.
We went there for a day trip and to shoot a vlog for my Glam Express column, "Postcards from...", that I occasionally film for my Glam Express' readers!

Anyway, back to this post...You're actually going to see two posts from Rovinj, as I don't want to overload you with photos in one post! In this post I'm taking you around the Rovinj's old town centre, and to St. Eufemija church, and the upcoming post will feature some of the most beautiful Rovinj's beaches :-)

HR: Pozdrav iz Rovinja! Kao sto znate, nalazimo se u Istri, a Rovinj je jedna od najpopularnijih turistickih destinacija na poluotoku! Prvi puta sam Rovinj posjetila u osnovnoj skoli, na skolskom izletu i odmah mi se svidio njegov stari gradski centar i crkva Sv. Eufemije sa koje se pruza prekrasan pogled na more i plaze :-)
U Rovinju smo se nasli kako bi snimali vlog za moje citatelje Glam Expressa, "Razglednice iz...", kojeg povremeno objavljujem na svom Glam Express kutku!
Ali, vratimo se mi na ovaj post...koji ce biti podijeljen na dva dijela, jer imam puno fotkica, a ne zelim vas zamarati sa svima njima u jednom postu! Danas pogledajte setnjicu starom gradskom jezgrom i Crkvu Sv. Eufemije, a sutra vas ocekuju slicice sa lijepih okolnih plaza!
Haljinica koju sam nosila novi je ulov sa ljetnih snizenja, iz Piazza Italia ducana, a ova preslatka pom pom slamnata torba za plazu je iz Carpise! I tako smo kompletirali summer look :-)

Summer photos

ENG: Beautiful summer season of carefree life and long, sunny days, you're already gone! How I wish I lived somewhere where there's endless summer! My hubby and friends always tell me I'd regret that, and that it's nice having all four seasons, and being able to enjoy the snow too...but I'm like..."Noooo, I'd never regret living the endless summer, trust me! I hate cold and what's so fun about the snow?! I'm always freezing my a.. off most of the year here in Italy, I really feel that I'm living the life to the fullest only when it's summertime!"

HR: Predivna ljetna sezono bezbriznih toplih dana, vec si za nama! Moja zelja oduvijek je bila zivjeti negdje gdje je uvijek ljeto! Moj muz i prijatelji uvijek mi govore da bih takvu odluku pozalila i da bi mi pocela nedostajati sva cetiri godisnja doba i cari zime i snijega, ali ja ih uvijek zbunjeno gledam, kao..."Hellooou, da li vi mene uopce poznajete?! Ne, nikada ne bih pozalila zivjeti u vjecnom ljetu! Kakve cari ima u hladnoci i snijegu?! Ionako mi se guz... smrzava vecinu godine u Italiji, a osjecam da zivim punim plucima samo kada je ljeto i kada su dani dugi, suncani i topli!"
