5 Summer Dresses I Adore

Hello beauties!

Summer days are meant for going outside, spending time at the beach and just enjoying life! It's very hot and humid these days here in Italy and I know these are the last days of summer :-/ My hubby and I worked a lot this summer and the vacations are already over! But it was truly nice and relaxing family holiday.

Of course, our destination was, as every summer, Croatia, and we also spent some time at our favorite place on this Earth: the island of Rab!

I'll show you my favorite 5 summer dresses that I keep wearing every summer and that I always pack with me, whenever I go to my vacations. Needless to say, I love wearing dresses in summertime! When it's very hot and sunny outside, I can't even bear the thought of wearing pants.

This lovely dress is from Hollister. I got it a couple of years ago (summer 2015. probably), on summer sales. It's very breezy and I love the model and the print. It's ideal for everyday but it can be dressed up, with a pair of heels.

In this photo I'm in the little Croatian seaside town Bakar, and I'm wearing my summer staples: Straw fedora and a little pink bag.

Next dress is a maxi dress and I got it at Fashionmia online store, in a blogger collaboration that we had. I love the color of this dress and the fact that it looks so good both with sneakers, and with heels. When I want to make it a bit more casual, I just pair it with my cropped jean jacket and white All Star sneakers.

Third dress is from H&M and their Conscious line. I bought it a few years ago at their summer sales. I'm in love with the color, print (delicate flowers) and the model. I do love to wear maxi dresses in summer, I think they're so feminine and make you look very chic and sophisticated.

This one I'm particularly fond of also because of the ruffly top part, it just looks so girly and pretty!

Next dress is a white summer dress from H&M. Again, this was bought on summer sales a few years ago, at H&M in Treviso (I was visiting that little Italian town with my friend and we went for a little walk around the centre of the town & a little shopping!).

Summer calls for the color white and I'm a big fan of wearing white. I have more than one white dress in my wardrobe, but this is surely one of my favorites, if not THE favourite!

Last (but not least) is this gorgeous lace red dress by Light In The Box. I had a chance to collaborate with that online store a couple of times, and they always surprised me with some nice gems!
My first collaboration with them was a bit unfortunate, but they really made it up with time, and showed me how much great items they carry at such affordable prices!

Anyhow, this dress is still one of my absolute favorite!

These are just 5 of many dresses that I have and love! I could go on and on, but let's get real: My suitcase has a limited storage space and I do need to optimize it!
This summer, my picks are these 5 beauties!

I hope you like some of the dresses that I showed you! Let me know which one is your favorite?

I'll talk to you soon!

Cropped Sweater & High Waisted Jeans OOTD

Hi guys!
Today I have an OOTD post I'd like to share with you.
This season, I really like to wear high waisted jeans with cropped sweaters.

My black, skinny (and ripped) high waisted jeans are from H&M and the cropped sweater I got from my collaboration with Light in the Box.

I took these photos to show you what I wore when I went to visit my friend and also a colleague from work who just had a baby!

I wanted to keep casual and comfy as I was bringing along my little son (in this case, the backpack is a must! I don't even wear regular shoulder bags anymore!)

I think high waisted jeans (or skirts) go really well with cropped tops, plus, right now it's a popular trend so it's not hard to find these types of garments,
This past year we had quite a "baby boom" at my work place: Around 10 of us became Mums in 2017!
I think it was me who started everything, lol!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Cropped Sweater: Light in the Box (Zara had basically the same model past year!)
Jeans: H&M (old)
Boots: Deichmann (gift from my Mum)
Backpack: Light in the Box
Leopard Print Silk Scarf: Guess
Layered Necklaces: old, from my collection of gold jewellery
Fishnet Tights: Golden Lady (old)

If you haven't watched my Light in the Box haul and updated review, you can check it out here

I hope you liked this outfit! I share more on my instagram (@trenchcollection) and I always tag #GlamExpress, so make sure to check out my outfit posts for some #styleinspo daily!

Shopping guide for plus size fashion

Hello loves!

In this post I'd like to tell you about my newest fashion obsession: FashionMia webstore! Their offer is so amazing that I literally spent hours browsing through it :-)
The prices very affordable too, and they offer a great selection of plus size clothing that is also very up to date!

I wanted to share some of my favourite picks with you :-)

Stars print is ultra modern this season, and this particular top you can wear even if you don't usually shop at plus section! Oversized items are also in style. I love the black & grey combo in winter season.

This is another pretty top that caught my attention. It's also quite festive, and you can definitely wear it for going out on a dinner date or such!

These are some plus size fashion tops that I'd recommend to my friend! She wants to renew her winter wardrobe and add some cool new pieces to her existing must haves.

She always has troubles finding lovely pieces that she likes, that actually flatter her body shape.
She really liked these ones :-)

This festive season is all about special dinners, gatherings and celebrations and nice festive dress is in order!

My friend was looking at bodycon dresses for plus size and she found some great models here!

This dress is really pretty and dressy! I love the lace detailing and it's perfect for dinners and special events that usually happen around Christmas.

This charming dress is a winner because of the bright colors, so it brings up a bit of something special to those dull & gloomy, grey winter days. My friend approves!

Actually she loves to wear dresses even in winter time, they're probably her favourite garment, as it's so easy to wear them and dress them up/ dress down. For additional layer, to keep warm, all you need to add is a pair of thick tights and some warm wool overcoat.
Also, for us busy Mums it's easier to have practical items to wear, that you can just "throw on"!

I came across some really pretty models at FashionMia, I'm without words to describe them properly!
You have to see it for yourself!

What do you guys think? How would you style these items?

All the clothes are very affordable, you can find awesome deals and true bargains, so happy shopping!

Fall Fashion (OOTD)

Hi guys!
I think it's time for one fall inspired OOTD post.
I spent most of October in Croatia, in my hometown Rijeka. The weather was sunny and warm and it was just perfect for taking long walks by the sea or the town's centre.
Here is what I wore one Sunday, when my hubby, our little son and my Mum, went to Alfa Romeo car meeting, that took place at the centre of Rijeka.
We had a lot of fun, and we stayed out and about for more than 5 hours!
I wanted to wear something comfy, but trendy, so I opted for this Leopard print coat, leather boots and a backpack (Mom friendly style!)
I wore my new floral print sweater that I was sent to by Light in the Box on line store to review. I loved it on top of my denim shirt and paired with Leopard print coat.

I always liked the combo of leopard and floral print, I think it's a good match.
My skinny jeans are actually from H&M maternity line, but I still like to wear them because they're super skinny and "body shaping" model, so they're more flattering than other jeans that I have.
Luckily, during my pregnancy, the elastic waistband didn't stretch out, so I can keep wearing them! (probably because I bought more than one pair of maternity jeans, plus, the last two months of my pregnancy, I avoided wearing jeans...I needed something way more comfy!)
I think this is a perfect fall outfit for those warm & sunny days and long walks.
How do you like it?

OOTD DETAILS:
Leopard print coat: Oviesse (but from a thrift store, brand new!)
Floral embroidery sweater: Light in The Box (here)
Skinny jeans - H&M body shaping model, from maternity section
Boots - Zara
Backpack - Bershka
Sunglasses - Mango
Denim shirt - Stradivarius
Apart from the floral sweater, everything else I've had in my wardrobe for a while! I haven't been shopping for new things in a while (and luckily, I don't need to, as I have a lot of nice things in my closet already!)
With the beginning of 2017, my resolution was to buy less and make the most out of the things I already have. I think I did pretty good overall!
I really feel better about myself and more organised, now that I stopped constantly buying new arrivals!
So this post isn't to indicate you on what's new in stores, but I made it to give you an inspiration for your fall look; if you like it, maybe you can put together a similar outfit from the clothes you already have!

OOTD: Windy day at the industrial zone of Rijeka

I often say, my hometown Rijeka is the best place to be if you're a fashion blogger, looking for cool locations to shoot your outfit posts! Here you can find such a variety of landscapes, from seaside to industrial, and sometimes even both, mixed together into one very cool location.
My hometown is also known for being windy, so it was on one of those chilly, windy days, that we photographed this outfit! I wore my Zara dress with blue H&M leggings, and a denim jacket. I added some silver Zara brogues, to make the outfit a bit more funky!

SUNGLASSES: Mango
NECKLACE: Zaful
EARRINGS: Zara
LEGGINGS: H&M
BAG: H&M
SHOES: Zara
JACKET: Zara
WOODEN WATCH: Jord
