Grow Stronger Nails With OPI Nail Envy!

Hello dolls!

This post is for all my beauty product addicts! :)

I came across this awesome nail strengthener, by OPI, and as this one actually worked & showed amazing results, after a few weeks of testing it out, I knew I had to share it with you!

In the past, I have tried a lot of nail strengtheners, from low cost brands, to high end ones...(essence, deborah, mavala, alessandro...) nothing seemed to be working!
I even tried taking food supplements for my nails...sometimes this would helped a bit...but NOTHING showed such an amazing results, as the OPI ORIGINAL NAIL ENVY!

Check out why I love this product so much, in my review video!

OPI Original Nail Envy
Natural Nail Strengthener
Maximum Strength Formula (with exclusive ProWide brush, for better application!)

Original Nail Envy
Maximum strength formula with hydrolyzed wheat protein & calcium

I bought this product in Muller beauty store in Croatia, as I couldn't find it at my local Sephora in Italy...

I heard so many good reviews about this product, from other beauty bloggers, so I really, really wanted to try out this product myself, as my nails were going through a bad period, and nothing seemed to be able to help them out in "recovering"...

When I found out the price of this nail strengthener was around 30€ (a bit more than 200kn, in croatian currency...)...my heart skipped a beat!
But as I really wanted to try this product out (I trusted all these positive reviews I've read about it!), I decided to take a chance and buy it anyway!

Luckily, it really paid off, because after just a few weeks of application, I started noticing visible results of improvement in the appearance, strength and length of my nails!

Here is how I tried to justify having spent 30€ on a bottle of a nail strengthener, to myself:
Instead of going to the nail salon to get my nails done, or put a gel coat on them, I "invested" the money in the OPI Nail Envy, and now I have beautiful, natural, long & strong nails! :)
This explanation does make sense, doesn't it? ;)

Now I could really recommend this nail strengthener to anybody who is struggling with weak nails that break easily.

I don't know the price of it in Italy, because I wasn't able to track it down, but, from one of my american subscribers, I found out this product is much cheaper in the USA!
In Ulta it retails at about 17$ (whereas the regular OPI color nail polishes are around 9$ each!).
As OPI is made in the USA, it does make sense that it costs less there...but I wasn't expecting the difference in price to be soo huge!

This summer, I was using OPI nail envy + OPI alpine snow and I really loved this look on my nails! :)

You can use the Nail Envy as a base coat, but also as a top coat, to make the colour of your regular nail polish last longer!

Here is what the instructions for application say:

"For maximum results, apply two coats of Original Nail Envy to each nail. Then, apply one coat every other day. After one week, use any OPI Polish Remover to remove all nail lacquer (if present) and Original Nail Envy. Begin application again. Original Nail Envy works best as a base coat in actual contact with the natural nail. It can also be used as a top coat over nail lacquer."

1.) To apply, begin at the center of the nail, approximately 1/32" from the cuticle. Let the bristles fan out for maximum coverage. With one smooth stroke, brush out to the free edge.

2.) Apply to each side of the initial brush stroke, overlapping slightly.

Ingredients:

ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, propyl acetate, tosylamide/formaldehyde resin, isopropyl alcohol, triphenyl phosphate, trimethyl pentanyl diisobutyrate, butyl alcohol, formaldehyde, stearalkonium bentonite, camphor, diacetone alcohol, ethyl tosylamide, benzophenone-1, citric acid, hydrolized wheat protein, dimethicone, calcium pantothenate, CI 60725 (violet 2), CI 77891 (Titanum Dioxide).

I hope this review was helpful to you!

Summer Vacation OOTD: Pale Pink & Lace Dress by Bershka

Hello lovelies!

Here is a new OOTD post + a short video clip, that I made during my summer vacations at the island of Rab, Croatia!

I really love the dress that I'm wearing in these pics, it's by Bershka and I got it at the end of summer sales, so I had a pretty good deal on it too ;)

I just featured it in my latest fashion haul video, have you watched it yet?
What do you think of my "last minute" summer purchases?

Anyway, back onto my Vacation OOTD, check out here how I styled this dress:

(we filmed at the beautiful locaation of the island of Rab, on our way to the Kristofor beach)

For the best experience of the island, I recommend staying here!

Some pics of the beautiful scenery & my outfit...

on our way to Kristofor beach, panoramic view

Have you seen my vacation vlog where I'm taking you with me to Kristofor beach?
I'm showing you these sights in my vlog, it's so beautiful, it's a MUST- SEE! ;)

For our 3,5 km long walk to the Kristofor beach, this is what I was wearing...
(initially we didn't think we were going to be walking for 3,5 km to the beach...I didn't have this in mind when I was getting ready that morning...but oh well, the day turned out pretty fun, despite my somewhat inappropriate outfit for hiking!)

HAT: Jennifer
DRESS: Bershka
TUBE TOP: Bershka
NECKLACE: H&M
CLUTCH: H&M
BALLET FLATS: H&M
Belt is from another dress.

We took this pic at the bay of Kristofor, to proove that we were actually there, and that we made 7 km total (back & forth) by foot that day!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

Please share it on your social networks, and add me on facebook, if you haven't yet! If you like reading my blog, make sure to follow it, for the future updates!

Have a beautiful day,

BIG Kiko Make Up Milano Haul & Swatches!

Hello beauties!

Today I'd like to share one exciting make up haul with you!
I went to Kiko Make Up Milano store, and most of their products were 50% off (the entire spring & summer collection was now available at super affordable prices!!!)

I fell in love with all these amazing colours & textures!!!

Kiko make up is very nice quality and I really enjoy using it in my daily make up routine.

I decided to film a haul video for you guys, to show you my picks and give you recommendations on my favourite products from this haul!

By the end of the video, I'm swatching all the products, so you can see better the pigmentation & the intensity of the colour on my skin.

My Kiko Make Up Milano Haul :)
Most of the products are from the spring & summer collection, but I got some things from Kiko's permanent line too
(the products in the black boxes).

What do we have here?

- Long lasting stick eyeshadow # 28
- Long lasting lipstick # 04
- Face brush
- Sun bronzing blush # 101 Crystal Rose
- Sun Bronzing blush # 102 Brick Mandarin
- Glow touch lips & cheeks # 03 lucky flamingo
- Glow touch lips & cheeks # 02 icy watermelon

(all these products are from Kiko's spring & summer collection)

Long lasting lipstick, the most beautiful blushes, and cream blushes/lip stains, long lasting eye-shadow stick...
Look at all these amazing colours!

Angled face brush (very soft, but perfect for applying the blush on your cheekbones!) I love it!

Products from Kiko's permanent collection.

What do we have here?

- Colour sphere eye shadow # 03
- Ultra glossy lip pencil # 612
- Smart lipstick # 902
- Smart lipstick # 910
- Velvet mat lipstick # 604

(all these products are from Kiko's permanent line.)

Velvet mat lipstick amazed me, it's super pigmented, yet very creamy and hydrating (unlike other mat lipsticks from other brands, that tend to be quite drying!).
This lipstick contains K2 repulp complex which stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen for a tested moisturizing and plumping action.
My type of lipstick! ;)

I hope you enjoyed this haul!

Have you ever tried out anything from Kiko Make Up? Do you have a favourite product from this brand, that you'd like to recommend to me & to the other readers of this blog? Leave me your comments!

Also, if you'd like me to do a more detailed review on any of the products from this haul, just leave me your requests :)

Kiss from Italy my beauties, have a lovely day :)

xoxo, S.
