The island of my dreams feat. Noracora lemon dress

 

Hi lovelies!

I'm back with a new outfit post in collaboration with Noracora. I love summertime, and going to the beach! These photos were taken at one of my dearest summer travel destionations, the beautiful island of Rab in Croatia.

This lovely summer dress with lemon print screams "summer", it's the perfect summer dress for going to the beach, very lightweight, fun and colorful :-)

I have a new found passion for blogging, so I'm working on shooting some more outfit photos and posting them here. I really appreciate all of you who are still here, periodically stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I love you guys!

Mommy OOTD for the beach

Hey guys!

Since summer is still here, I decided to share with you this quick outfit post that I wore past month at the island of Rab, when I was vacationing there with my little family :-)

These days I don't get time to prepare myself to go out shooting for outfit posts, so I have to make the most out of the situations such as this one (we were going to the beach).

Gosh, please ignore how white I am! I'm just naturally very pale skin, and this summer I didn't even have time to put on a bit of self tanner...anyway, I already made a post in the past, about accepting your natural features and embracing what nature has given you, and the same applies for the colour of your skin!

This pretty floral dress I got this summer at summer sales at H&M, I really like the model, the print, and the fabric it's made of (it's really nice quality).
I also wanted to get this model in white, but they ran out of my size. As this fits quite large, I got it in XS.
My hat and sandals are also new and I got them for less than €5 at summer sales (sunglasses were € 3.99 at Zara, and hat is from H&M).
The sandals are very old (not kidding, I've had them for probably 12 years!) The reason why they are still in a perfect condition is because: 1. I haven't worn them every summer, and, 2. They're made of leather and made in Italy so the quality is unquestionable!

Life with a toddler is super dynamic and sometimes we're exhausted, but we all truly enjoyed our holiday! Our son had so much fun at the beach, exploring, sleeping, bathing in the sea! I already miss those sunny days at the island!

Here it is, my quick OOTD post for today! I finally managed to squeeze it in! My little boy just went to sleep, and my hubby is out for work, so before hitting the bed myself, I said I was going to finish this post! I'm quite tired though, and tomorrow I work, so I can't wait to get some rest (dear son, please sleep tight all through the night! lol!) #mommyblogger

Trip to the island of Rab

Hi guys! It's time for another fashion post! I realized I have some more outfit posts from my past month's trip to the island of Rab, that I still haven't published.
I spent most of October in Croatia, and I had some sort of "internet detox", but I'm back now and full of new projects & ideas! Depending on how much time my little son allows me to dedicate to my blog, I'll keep bringing you more fashion, beauty & mum related topics in the upcoming weeks!

I wore this outfit during our trip to the island of Rab. We stopped half way to take photos, as the scenery was simply breathtaking!

Pozdrav ljudi! Vrijeme je za jedan brzinski outfit post! Upravo sam pregledavala fileove na kompu i shvatila da imam jos dosta outfit slicica sa naseg boravka na otoku Rabu koje jos nisam podijelila sa vama. Provela sam dobar dio ovog mjeseca u Hrvatskoj i na tako recenom "internet detoxu", ali sada sam natrag u "punoj snazi" i jedva cekam zapoceti nove projekte i realizirati neke ideje koje vec cekaju na red!
Sve ovisi o mom sincicu i koliko mi vremena "odobri" za moje bloganje, haha!

Ovaj outfit nosila sam tijekom naseg putovanja na otok Rab. Zaustavili smo se na Magistrali kako bi napravili par slicica, jer krajolik je zaista divan!

Last days of summer at the island of Rab

Hi guys! 
In my last post, I told you that I spent a few days at the beginning of this month at the island of Rab in Croatia.
We had a few sunny days, so we made the most out of it and spent them at the beach.
I wore this cherry print, vintage style swimsuit, and a cover up that I ordered at banggood
This swimsuit cover up is just my cup of tea, I love the stripes and also these blue tassles that make it a bit more special and fun! A perfect must have for the beach :-)

This was the first summer that I spent as a parent, that's why we went to our family vacation so late! We waited until September to avoid summer heat and too crowded beaches, and also we waited for our baby to grow a little bit more so it would be easier for us to bring him along everywhere we go.
I can honestly say that this summer was a very special one!

Cherry swimsuit, 50ies swimsuits vintage vibes at the island of Rab, Croatia

Hi guys! I'm back from my short vacation! I spent the last days of summer 2017. with my little family at the island of Rab in Croatia.
I recharged my batteries and now I'm ready to take on some new blogger adventures and projects! I'm actually looking forward to the beginning of the fall season :-)
Thanks to my home country Croatia, the beautiful island of Rab and friends for all the lovely moments we experienced there recently! 
What have you guys been up to in these two weeks that I've been on a sort of internet detox?

At the beach, I wore this vintage inspired, 50ies model of swimsuit that I got at banggood web store. This summer I got a lot of new bikinis and bathing suits, but I only spent a few days at the beach, so I was very careful at packing only my most favourite beachwear to bring along on my mini vacation.
This cherry swimsuit is definitely something else, I never had anything like that in my swimsuit collection before, and I have to say that I love it!

P.S. I'm done "apologizing" for my super pale skin. I've learned to embrace it and love it. End of story.

Pozdrav ljudi! Evo me natrag nakon malog predaha! Provela sam neko vrijeme u Hrvatskoj sa mojom malom obitelji, a uspjeli smo skoknuti i par dana do naseg dragog otoka Raba.
Napunjenih baterija, spremna sam za nove blogerske avanture i projekte! U biti, ja koja obozavam ljeto, radujem se dolasku jeseni! :-)
Hvala mojoj Hrvatskoj, divnom otoku Rabu i dragim prijateljima na ugodno provedenim trenucima proteklih tjedana!
Sto ste vi radili dok sam ja bila na ovom malom "internet detoxu"?

Na plazi, nosila sam ovaj zgodni kupaci kostim na tresnjice. Svidja mi se taj vintage model, inspiriran 1950.-ima. Narucila sam ga sa banggood web ducana (da li ste vi od tamo sto narucivali?)
Ove godine provela sam samo par dana na plazi, tako da sam pazljivo birala omiljene modele kupacih kostima koji su putovali sa mnom, a jedan od njih zasigurno je bio i ovaj! Do sada nisam u svojoj kolekciji kupacih kostima imala ovakav model i mogu reci da me je bas odusevio!

P.S. Vise se ne ispricavam zbog super blijedog tena. Naucila sam se prihvatiti takvu kakva jesam i voljeti. Kraj price.

Before the storm...

ENG: The day of our arrival to the island of Rab, the weather got really crazy! It got very chilly, cloudy and windy! We took these shots just before going to our friend's place, and then it started pouring down rain!

HR: Na dan naseg dolaska na otok Rab, vrijeme se naglo pogorsalo! Pocelo je puhati, zamracilo se i postalo prilicno prohladno! Nismo mogli na plazu, vec smo se brze- bolje pokupili kod prijatelja. Ove fotke nastale su bas prije naseg odlaska prijateljima, a nakon toga pocela je padati kisa koja je potrajala cijelu noc.
