My Summer Fashion Story

Hello beauties!

I wanted to put together a few of my favorite photos from this summer and through them, tell you my own summer fashion story...

This is our first summer as parents, so it was definitely new and different to us. And when I say "different" I honestly mean better, because even though I didn't have "me time" to lay on the beach and take loads of outfit photos, my little son brings me so much joy and happiness and fulfills my life in a way that I really, honestly don't miss anything from past summers, when it was just me & my hubby.

Luckily, my hometown is full of coastal walks, so instead of laying at the beach all day long, we preferred going for relaxing, long walks by the sea with our little son.

For those occasions, I would wear my flowy, "easy breezy" summer dresses. I particularly like the one I'm wearing in this photo, because it's very lightweight and the print is lovely! It also comes with this golden necklace detail, so you don't need to worry about accessorizing it!

I bought it a few summers back at a Bershka store on sales and it's still one of my "go to" summer dresses.

When we went to the beach, it was in the late afternoon hours and this photo tells you that I kept things practical, when it comes to my beach outfits: jeans shorts are always a must and I combined them with colorful bikini tops and a straw material fedora.

I love this photo where my hubby managed to capture the waves in the movement: our Adriatic Sea is usually calm, nothing like the Ocean, but on some days, it can show its temper.

Of course, we HAD to buy a little swimming pool! Lol, just big enough to fit all 3 of us. We had so much fun in it as my little boy was splashing the water and clapping his hands and moving his legs, laughing and enjoying himself!

I would go in the pool for a quick refreshment before breakfast, to awake myself and start the day with a smile.

Also, I managed to visit my hairdresser, so that was another reason to smile, thanks to her, I'm a blondie again!

It was good to pamper myself after exactly one year since I went to have my hair done...I needed it! Blonde hair is the best accessory, I don't need any makeup...well, maybe just a really cool pair of sunglasses (like these ones from Matthew Williamson that I picked at H&M years ago!). The white swimsuit is also from H&M. I find these one piece swimsuits to be very elegant and flattering!

Evening walks by the sea were priceless! Even when the weather was promising rain, we feared not!

I love how beautiful my hometown is! For this evening walk I was wearing my ripped skinny jeans by H&M, floral top by an italian brand Francomina, little Zara bag and comfy Adidas sneakers.

All good things come to an end, so that's how we also had to return to the reality of our lives in Italy...Upon our arrival, one package that was waiting for me, made our return a bit sweeter...

When you receive a cool swimsuit like that, you know that summer isn't over just yet!

I'm looking forward to some sun in September and hopefully another quick holiday by the sea.

ENG: My hubby is usually always the one who is behind the camera, but I managed to convince him to be Jord watch model for the day :-)

My hubby is in the car tuning industry and he works with carbon fibres. He also loves simple, sostainable/ eco pieces, timeless pieces that are great quality and made to last. He is against consumerism and appreciates new, innovative ideas and unique designs. That's why this time, for Jord he was willing to make an exception and stand in front of the camera.

Moj muz bavi se tuningom automobila, a jedna od njegovih specijalnosti izrada je automobilskih djelova od karbon fibri. On je ljubitelj jednostavnih i eko proizvoda, a pri izboru bilo cega prioritet mu je kvaliteta i bezvremenski dizajn, proizvod mora biti funkcionalan i dugotrajan.
On prezire konzumizam, a podrzava inovativne ideje i originalan dizajn.
Zbog toga je, samo ovaj put, za Jord napravio iznimku i stao ispred kamere.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, having fun in the snow with my dog ♥

ENG: Hi guys! These are the photos from my weekend roadtrip to Cortina d'Ampezzo :-)
We had so much fun and it was certainly one of the best roadtrips this year!
I never knew how to dress warm enough for the snow...but this time, I wasn't cold and I was able to move without feeling like a penguin on the snow, so I guess I finally had it figured out ;-)

Mi smo bas uzivali u ovom izletu, bas nam je trebalo nesto tako opustajuce!
Nikada nisam znala kako se prikladno obuci za snijeg...no ovaj put, buduci da mi nije bilo hladno i da sam se nesmetano mogla kretati, mislim da sam pogodila outfit! ;-)

Welcome to the hotel Panorama (part one)

ENG: Hi guys! Today I'm finally back with a new outfit post! My hubby & I found this super cool location to shoot outfit photos and we had a lot of fun (he shooting, me posing), that's how we ended up with more than 30 photos... I decided to split this post into two parts, because there were so many great shots I wanted to share, but I didn't want to overwhelm you with photos overload, lol!
That's how, in the second part of this post, you'll be able to see how this outfit looks like without the pink coat, plus some close-ups! :-) So stay tuned!

I love this outfit as some pieces I've had in my wardrobe for over 10 years now (such as this oversized, high-waisted Replay jeans...I bought them while I was still living in London, UK, back in 2004./'05.!, and, the denim jacket that I'm wearing underneath my coat...it was such a trendy model back in 2000./'01. and I bought it together with a matching denim skirt in the town Trieste in Italy, when I was there shopping with my friends!).
I love to wear pieces that have their own story to tell! Pieces from my wardrobe that have "lived"...it makes me feel super cool, pairing them with some newer purchases...lol! Does this make sense to you? ;-)

HR: Pozdrav dragi ljudi! Evo me napokon sa novim outfit postom! Muzic i ja naisli smo na jednu super cool lokaciju za snimanje outfit slicica...(radi se o napustenom hotelu Panorama iznad Preluke, na Opatijskoj rivijeri!)...O ovome hotelu imali smo clanak u engleskom uzdbeniku u hotelijersko- turistickoj skoli, ucili smo o njemu i prekrasnom pogledu na Kvarner koji se iz njega pruza...a danas...16 godina poslije, radi se o rusevinama...Koje su ipak posluzile nekoj svrsi, muzic i ja toliko smo se zabavili (ja pozirajuci, on fotografirajuci!), tako da smo shooting zavrsili sa vise od 30-tak fotki!
Zbog toga sam odlucila ovaj post podijeliti u dva dijela, imam puno super fotki koje vam zelim pokazati, ali ne zelim vas udaviti sa toliko fotografija u jednom postu :-)
Tako da sam ih odlucila "tematski" podijeliti...ako se to moze tako reci...pa cete u iducem postu vidjeti kako outfit izgleda bez roza kaputica, a i neke close-up fotke! Obavezno svratite :-)

Ja obozavam ovaj outfit! Stvarno sam ponosna kako sam ga slozila, jer neke komade imam u ormaru vec 10-tak godina! Ovaj boyfriend jeans visokog struka marke Replay, kupila sam dok sam jos zivjela u Londonu, davne 2004./'05. god.! I danas je vrlo moderan i kada ga nosim ljudi me uvijek pitaju gdje se moze nabaviti! Traper jaknu koju nosim ispod kaputica, kupila sam jos prije! Bilo je to 2000./'01. god. u jednom od mojih famoznih izleta u obliznji Trst u Italiji, sa frendicom :-)
Volim nositi tako neke komade odjece koji imaju svoju vlastitu pricu za ispricati...Komadi iz mojeg ormara koji su vec "zivjeli"...osjecam se bas cool kada slozim tako neki outfit i ukombiniram starije komade iz mojeg ormara, sa novijim ulovima!...haha! Da li vama ima smisla to sto ja pricam? ;-)
