Winter OOTD: Dressing on a Budget, yet Stylish!

Hello lovelies!

I've always known that building up your winter wardrobe costs more than building up your summer one!
Winter clothes are usually more expensive, and one feels like one has to "break a bank" to be stylish and on trend! :(
However, the good news is that this belief of mine has recently proven to be wrong! :)

In the cold day of the end of December, I found myself wearing a quite stylish (I'd say!) outfit, and when I started thinking about the money I spent on it, it turned out surprisingly less than one would have expected!

So let's see together how one can dress on a budget, yet staying stylish and on trend!
Here is my little example/ outfit inspiration:

& now, the pics...

Let's see what did I wore:

Military print gilet: Italian Open Market (3€)
Grey sweaterdress: Italian Open Market (3€)
White basic top: H&M (cca 3€)
Grey peggings: Italian Open Market (3€)
Belt: Promod (5€)
Long socks: Promod (cca 3€)
Necklace: Italian Open Market (1€)
Camel color boots: Vagabond (cca 60€)
Bag: Zara (cca 70€)
Bracelets: H&M (cca 3€)
Rosegold watch: "Stella" by Fossil (67.50€)

Just a few of the items(three to be precise!)that I wore here are over 50€, but most of the items were 3€, or less!
I think that's pretty good, don't you?
;)

A little hair update...

While I was in Croatia, I paid a visit to my hairdresser and we touched up my roots.
She did just a few highlights and then she put a light color to my roots, just to make it seem more natural.
We didn't cut my hair, she just did a loose curls/ waves, by using a straightening iron.
I just recently bought a collection of Kerastase Ciment Anti- Usure haircare products, which I love, so I'll be doing a review on those soon!
My hair is getting pretty long, but I don't have any intentions of cutting it just yet! ;)
& with a help of a great quality haircare products such as Kerastase ones, I can definitely allow myself not to cut my hair often!

That's about it for my today's fashion post & other ramblings... ;)

Have a lovely evening!
♥ Sonja

Croatia Vlog: Day 3 (The Adriatic Sea & My New Hair Colour!)

Helllooo! :)

Don't miss out on #3 vlog from my trip to Croatia!
Finally, THE BEACH!!!
The Adriatic Sea is gorgeous and you guys always remind me that with your lovely comments of excitment whenever you see such a beautiful colour of the crystal clear sea in my vlogs or pictures!
This reminds me to appreciate more and value more the beauty of the nature that I have right in front of me, and that I sometimes take for granted.

...

In today's vlog you'll also see my new hair colour!
I went to my hairdresser (I missed her so much, to be honest with you) because I started feeling not very satisfied with the hair colour that I had.
It seemed too light blonde, almost bleached, with my darker roots showing...I needed a colour fix! :)
I wanted to go a slightly bit darker, for more natural & healthy looking colour.
My hairdresser coloured the roots a bit darker (but still lighter than my natural colour), and then she also darkened the length, but just a little bit...
Overall, I'm very happy with the result and I think I'll go again to my croatian hairdresser in August and I won't be going to my italian hairdresser again...
We'll see, but this is how I feel at the moment.
My croatian hairdresser also uses hair colour of a much better quality and less damaging, so this is one of the main reasons why I want to stick with her!
She currently uses only Kemon products.

You can see how I spent my third day in Croatia here:

Here are a couple of pics taken at the beach of Kostrena.
I'll do a video & blog post on this outfit (of the day) soon :) where I'll include more pics!

I took an opportunity of being at this beautiful spot, to film my contest entry for Youtube's NEXT UP contest!
I'm really excited to participate & full of motivation to keep going on with my Youtube beauty & style dedicated channel(s)!!!
You can check out my contest entry here & if you'd like to, leave me a comment :)

Thank you so much for all your support!

The last video vlog of my trip to Croatia will be uploaded tomorrow (well, due to the fact that it's past midnight, technically it'll be uploaded today...)

Kissss & Good Night!

Well, NEW UPDATE: I filmed this video past week, before I went to have my highlights & cut done at the hairdresser's salon! I'm satisfied with the result and can be calm for other two months or so...but still, I wish my hair would just grow naturally blonde, lol ;)

The pics down bellow were taken just after my visit to the hairdresser's, in the same afternoon:

Well, girls, I hope you enjoyed this little beauty chit-chat!
Let me know do you like my make up tutorial!

You'll find the questions at the top right side of my blog!
I'm going to London soon & I'd like to know what would you like to see on my blog/youtube, related to my trip :)

Hair Colour & Cut Update & OOTD

Hello my lovelies!

As I've mentioned  in one of my previous posts, finally, this Monday, I went to the hairdresser to get my roots re-touched with highlights!
After two months, my roots were showing quite a bit!
I actually didn't mind THAT MUCH, (my hair was starting to look as if I was sporting the "ombre" color trend, LOL, just kidding- I know the difference between an ombre hair, professionally done, and just a huge dark roots showing!)
I felt it was the right time to pay a visit at my hairdresser.
I didn't get any hair products this time, because I still have a shampoo, conditioner & a hair mask that I need to finish first.
Then I'll buy Kerastase Soleil line (the red one), that I buy every summer and I'm very pleased with it.
News at my hairdresser's salon: They introduced AVEDA line in their offer!
I've heard lots of things about it, and Monday I've tried it as my hairdresser washed & conditioned my hair with it.
It's also quite expensive, but highly concentrated (you don't need to use a lot of the product).
I returned home with a booklets & price list so I can choose my product at piece and the next time I go there, I'll already know what I want to try.
Also, I've been on my good behaviour because my trip to London is coming soon so I want to save up some money for my trip.
(I'll write more about my trip in one of my incoming blog posts...)

Here are the pics of my hair just after I returned home from the hairdresser's:

I also cut my hair a bit...
It's been months since I cut it (more than 6 months for sure!) so I knew I had to cut it a bit, to make it more healthy & just better looking!
We decided to cut cca 4-5 cm and as my hair is very long, the difference isn't even noticeable!
I mainteined a slight "V" cut at the back of my hair.
We cut the front section quite a bit, in a way that I can wear my hair with all the partings that I want (the middle one, or both sides, it'll look equally good!)
Kind of a side bangs...but I can style them on any side that I want! :) cool!
I'm very much pleased with this new haircut!

Bare in mind that in the next couple of my videos, you'll still see me with my "old" hair, just because I pre-recorded a few vids...

& now, let's see what I was wearing for my visit to the hairdresser's salon:

PEACH COLOUR T-SHIRT: H&M
WATERFALL CROPPED CARDIGAN: Scooterplus (Thrifted for 1 €)
BAGGY FIT JEANS: Pull & Bear
SUNGLASSES: DM (Drogerie Markt)
BAG: Guess
WHITE WATCH: Fossil
RING: H&M
BRACELET: Caleidos Outlet
EARRINGS: 1 €uro Store
SANDALS: Amidly
NAIL POLISH ON MY FINGERS: Kiko Make Up Milano # 340
NAIL POLISH ON MY TOES: Chanel 505 Particuliere

I also did a tini- tiny haul:

I bought:

- Project Professional Nail Polish (Made in Italy) # 68 Fizz Magnolia
(Because I just haven't got enough nail polishes as it is!
Like I don't have them around 100 already!!! LOL
My defense: I LOVE this colour! And it was super inexpensive!)

- essence studio nails "better than gel nails" base sealer
(this is awesome! totally recommending this one!)

- Some beads & cord for my DIY WRAP BRACELETS
( If you'd like me to make one for you, you can order it & choose
the colour & length that you want.
You can e-mail me with your requests at:
missfashionkitty@libero.it
or
b-deasjewellery@libero.it

Well, that's pretty much all what I wanted to write about in this post!
Wishing you all a lovely day :)
What are you going to do today?
(leave me your answer in the comment section)
I'm going to go thrifting with my friend :)
So wish me a successful "hunt"!

xoxo Sonja
