My Baby Boy's Clothing, Food & Essentials Haul in Croatia!

Hi guys!

Recently I went with my little family on a short trip to my home in Croatia. It was sort of a mini vacation and we all enjoyed it pretty much!

When I was there, I went in a few stores that sell baby clothes & other essentials, and I picked some items that I want to share in today's post.

My dear long time friend Fatmira came to visit us, and she gave me a gift card to use in S. Oliver's store (as she said, she wanted to get to my little Sebastian some cute bits from that store, as their clothes is really cute and nice quality.)

This is actually the first time I was shopping for my boy in S.Oliver's store and I can say that I was very pleased with what I picked out!

My little son already has quite a big selection of summer clothes (and babies grow fast), so I decided to pick a few things in bigger sizes, that he's going to (hopefully) be able to wear next summer!

Aren't these T-shirts and a little bandana adorable?

I also went to Drogerie Markt and Muller drugstores and I picked some yummy baby food and hygiene essentials:

I'm still breastfeeding, but my baby is 7 months old now, so he does eat some solids too. I usually cook his meals (I got the Philips Avent blender & steamer that I'll be reviewing soon), but I discovered these delicious Frutek meals that you can offer to your baby as a breakfast or dessert, and boy, does he love them!

They're made in Slovenia, and...well done! They're super delicious (can mommy have one too? lol), and I even went back the next day, to buy some more (as I haven't seen them here in Italy).

I also bought some baby hygiene essentials, such as Penaten creme (recommended by my Mum. She said she used Penaten products on me and I never had any irritations or nappy rash), Water Wipes (probably the best wipes on the market, as they don't contain any chemical ingredients, only water and fruit extract), great for sensitive skin. I like to buy them whenever I'm in Croatia, because I can't seem to find them here where I live in Italy :-(

You can get them in DM and Muller, but in Muller they're more affordable!

I also picked some cute bath products and his first toothbrush (by MAM). He only has 2 bottom teeth so I think it's still a bit early to start brushing his teeth (he doesn't even know how to spit yet!), but I'd appreciate to know your experiences and advices, when did you first start with your baby's oral hygiene?

You guys know that I don't share pics of my baby on the social medias, but here are a few "candids" where you can see bits of him and his daily life activities.

He's such a good and dear boy, he loves to play and he always smiles! I love him more than life!

You might have noticed that, since I became a Mum, my blog has been moving into a slightly different direction...Well, I started my blog a very long time ago (has it been 7 or 8 years now?), and it never started as exclusively fashion blog, but it had a mixture of everything (fashion, beauty, lifestyle...)

A few years ago, I started posting mostly outfit photos and my blog was taking almost exclusively that fashion direction. I got to work with numerous fashion brands and I'm not going to lie, I loved it.

Some really cool outfits and fashion posts were created in that period.

But since I gave birth to my precious boy this January, taking outfit photos has been pretty much impossible to me! I would try to "steal" a moment whenever we were out as a family, but those photos never looked as professional and put together as they used to (we used to go on a hunt for the perfect location, and my stylings were always carefully planed days ahead).

I don't say that I miss that, I'm just saying that, being used to delivering one type of content, it felt quite frustrating knowing that I took a step (or two) back in the quality of the content that I'm currently producing for you guys.

That's why I decided not to stress out about impossible situations, but to "adjust" my blog to my current lifestyle. As I truly enjoy being a Mum and I believe that my son is the greatest blessing in my life, I really want to share with you more of "Mum" related topics here, and tell you more about my & my son's journey :-)

You were already able to notice that I posted more beauty topics and reviews in the past week, and I'm planing to continue in this direction.

So from now on, there'll be lots of more beauty topics, lifestyle and Mum & baby related topics! Of course, fashion is still my love, so I'm going to try and surprise you with an outfit post whenever I can, and also "New In/ Haul" type of posts.

Since I'm doing this blog update, I also wanted to be honest and straightforward with you and let you know that sponsored posts and "wish lists" are also welcome here on my blog, as they're giving me the possibility to earn some extra $$$ to invest in my blog/ youtube and to provide better quality content for you. This is the only reason I say yes to those type of posts, as every single $ earned, I like to invest in my blogging/ vlogging. Empties # 11: Products I've Used Up & Mini Reviews

Hi dolls, it's time for my "Empties" blog post/video again!
I have accumulated a whole bunch of empty containers, I've used up so many beauty products so quickly! At least it seems so...
I just wasn't able to keep up with all the empties that I have accumulated over the past couple of months, so recently I cleaned out my storage and threw away a whole bag full of empty beauty products (that I haven't even mentioned in "empties" video yet!)

I did that because they were just occupying my storage space and it seemed kind of crazy, to accumulate all that junk!
I wasn't able to film 10 "Empties" videos in a row, so I've decided, I'll take a little break from "Empties" series, and dedicate more time to individual beauty product reviews!

So, after this "Empties #11" you might have to wait for a good while to see another "Empties" video or a blog post...

Danasnji video/ blog post biti ce "Empties", tj. govoriti cu vam o proizvodima koje sam potrosila te cu vam preporuciti neke od navedenih proizvoda koji su mi se najvise svidjeli!

O_O

Odlucila sam se koncentrirati vise na individualne recenzije proizvoda koji mi se posebno svide!

In my today's blog post & beauty video, I'm going to talk about my TOP 10 products that are super affordable!

It's the famous "TOP 10 UNDER 10!" TAG and I think this one is going to be pretty interesting for you guys :)

U danasnjem blog postu i beauty videu, govoriti cu o mojih TOP 10 proizvoda koji su cijenom vrlo povoljni, odlicne kvalitete, a kostaju manje od 100 kn. Radi se o poznatom "TOP 10 UNDER 10!" TAG videu, koji kruzi youtube-om i koji je po mom misljenju, vrlo zanimljiv!

Nadam se da ce vam se svidjeti ove moje male preporuke!

First of all, I'd like to recommend a few products from my favourite drugstore, DM (Drogerie Markt)...

Balea and Alverde beauty products are very affordable, yet excellent quality!

These are currently my top products from these brands:

- Balea professional hair repair oil (with argan oil)

- Balea enzym peeling face mask

- Alverde lip balms in a stick

Prije svega, izdvojila bih nekoliko proizvoda iz moje omiljene drogerije, DM-a...

Balea i Alverde proizvodi cijenom su jako pristupacni, a izuzetne kvalitete!

Ovo su trenutno moji top proizvodi od navedenih brandova:

- Balea ulje za kosu (sa arganovim uljem)

- Balea enzym peeling maska za lice

- Alverde balzami za usne (vanilija i mandarina te nevenov balzam u sticku)

Balea, Alverde, L'Oreal, Lush...

I'd also like to mention a few products by L'Oreal, these are my "Go To" products, because they're very affordable yet great at doing their job! ;)

- L'Oreal hairspray Elnett Satin (a true classic, the best among the hairsprays for more than one reason!)
- L'Oreal 3in1 Purifying Micellar Solution (rather new product on the market, but it already became a must-have in a cleansing routine of many beauty bloggers! It's very gentle at removing make up, yet very fast at doing so & with excellent results!)
- L'Oreal Elseve huile extraordinaire (another great hair care oil, somewhat comparable to the famous Elixir K Ultime!)

I do like to shop at Lush, and one of the products I keep repurchasing is their Tea Tree water toner that instantly refreshes and soothes my skin!


Voljela bih vam preporuciti i par proizvoda iz L'Oreala...
Ovo su moji top proizvodi za kojima posezem svaki dan (volim ih jer su jeftini, a odlicno rade svoj posao!):

- L'Oreal Elnett Satin sprej za kosu (pravi "klasik", najbolji lak za kosu kojeg sam ikad isprobala, iz vise razloga...o tome u vise detalja u jednom od narednih postova, iako sam vam vec pricala o tom laku za kosu i zasto ga bas toliko volim!)
- L'Oreal 3in1 Micelarna Voda za skidanje sminke (3in1 Purifying Micellar Solution).
Novija stvar na nasem trzistu; super jer efikasno skida sminku i vrlo je njezan na kozi lica i osjetljivom okoloocnom podrucju!
- L'Oreal Elseve huile extraordinaire, ulje za njegu kose koje se moze usporediti sa famoznim Elixir K Ultime uljem od Kerastasa.

Volim i kupovati u Lush-u, a proizvod kojemu se uvijek vracam jest Tea Tree Water tonik za lice.
Instantno osvjezava moju kozu lica, smiruje ju nakon skidanja sminke i daje joj tonus.
To je proizvod kojeg sam vec puno puta potrosila, pa kupila i zaista ga volim, a cijena mu je prilicno ok (oko 50tak kn, ova manja bocica).

And now, onto the make up!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder,
Revlon Lip Butters

My top products of the moment are certainly Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balms, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (watch my review video on this product HERE!, or read my blog post review HERE!), and Rimmel Lip Butters (I have 4, but I like them ALL!).

Sto se sminke tice, trenutni favoriti, koji se cijenom krecu ispod 100 kn, definitivno su Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm, obojeni balzami za usne koji se mogu usporediti sa Clinique Chubby Stickom (samo sto je Catrice cijenom puno povoljniji...)

O Rimmel Stay Matte kompaktnom puderu napravila sam i video recenziju (POGLEDAJ OVDJE!) i blog post (PROCITAJ OVDJE!).

Rimmel Lip Butters-i su moja opsesija i trenutno ih imam 4, ali zelim ih SVE! haha

Odlicni su, vrlo hidratantni, a prelijepih boja koje su prilicno intenzivne i kada ih nanesete na usnice! Preporucam! ;)

TAG: "Get Ready With Me"

Hello beauties!

I filmed a fun make up tutorial/TAG video, "Watch Me Get Ready", or "Get Ready With Me".

I filmed my current every day make up routine :) so it's a very simple look and I hope you'll be inspired to create something similar!

This was actually my very first voice over video, so it may sound a bit funny or awkward, I still need to get used to this way of editing my videos & get some practice!

$20 Makeup Challenge Tutorial

Hello girls!

I wanted to prove to the world that we can all look pretty on a budget, and that there is no need to spend millions to actually look like a million $  (!!!)

So I took this challenge and create a makeup look, using very inexpensive products, the cheapest ones that I could have found!

Surprisingly, some of them worked so well, that I'm planning on repurchasing, once I run out of them!

And then, some of these products I was already using as a part of my everyday routine, and I really wanted to share them with you, exactly because they're so cheap, yet work so well!

I had only $20 budget, which isn't a lot for creating a full face, complete makeup, and my biggest concern were the brushes...

I believe that a good quality brushes are a key to creating a nice makeup, and brushes can be quite expensive, as they're like your basic tools, sort of as an investment...

I've had a good experience with ecotools brushes, so I've decided to use 2 brushes from my ecotools collection (I couldn't use all of the brushes from the collection, because that would mean going over $20 budget, as at amazon.com the ecotools brush kit retails at cca $9.

Spending $9 on brushes, would leave me with a very tiny budget for the rest of the makeup!)

That's why I've chosen to use only the powder brush and the blush brush by ecotools, while for the eyeshadow look, I've decided to work with my fingers & a Q-tip! (a very inexpensive, yet always efficient tools!) ;)

As I've mentioned in the video, I didn't just go out and buy all the new products for this tutorial!

That would have been a bit controversial, giving the fact that we're trying to save the money here, and be on a budget!

As I already had quite a few inexpensive makeup products in my collection, I've decided to use them for my tutorial.

I only purchased a foundation and an anti-blemish concealer.

I purchased the foundation because, let's face it, if I were to use the one that I'm using on a daily basis, my complete $20 makeup look would consist of having only a foundation on my face, LOL (!!!)

And, I bought a new anti-blemish concealer, not only because it was cheap, but also because I was running out of the one that I'm currently using, and as I have tried this cheap one in the past and was very satisfied, this tutorial was the perfect exceuse to go out & repurchase it!

So, here are the products that I've used:

My favourite cheap makeup brands are:
- essence
- catrice
- miss cop
- ecotools (for the brushes!)
- kiko make up milano
- alverde

I'm really happy with how the complete look turned out,
and I'll keep using some of this products on a daily basis! 

My biggest positive surprise was essence Pure Skin mousse foundation, that I bought for an incredible price of only 1.19€ and that it turned out to be awesome product, something that I'd definitely want to use regularly and even repurchase!

Kozmeticki proizvodi koje sam kupila ovog ljeta u Hrvatskoj (DM, Kozmo, Iris...)

Hej curke!

Evo jednog posta i na materinjem jeziku, a za sve moje drage gledateljice iz Hrvatske, pripremila sam i mali "haul" video!

U ovom vam videu pokazujem neke od stvarcica koje sam kupila ovog ljeta u hrvatskim drogerijama i parfumerijama!

Svaki moj dolazak u Hrvatsku, znaci i posjet DM-u! To mi je jedna od najdrazih drogerija i bas mi fali tu u Italiji!

Ovog ljeta, "zaletila" sam se i do Kozma, Iris parfumerije, a obisla sam i par ljekarni u potrazi za meni omiljenim Caudalie kozmetickim proizvodima!

Pa da dalje ne nabrajam, sve sto sam kupila mozete vidjeti ovdje:

Posebno se radujem maski za lice na bazi masline i gline iz Kozmo parfumerije, te Flormar rumenilu!

Vecinu ovih proizvoda cu spomenuti i u mojim mjesecnim favoritima, jer koristim ih svakodnevno od kada sam ih kupila!
