"Outfits of the Week" Video on MissFashionKitty Channel

Hello girls!

I'm about to go to sleep as tomorrow I have a busy day at work ahead of me, but before I hug my pillow, here is a quick outfit post for you :)

Actually, more than a post, it's a video...
Just an older video that I had in my files, so I've decided to edit it & re-upload it.
The outfits that I'm showing you in this video may serve you as a styling inspiration for this Fall weather, when one day it is warm and sunny and then the next day it is raining and quite chilly!

Hit the play button bellow to watch my video:

& don't forget to let me know which one was your favourite outfit, out of all these outfits that I featured here!
I'd love to know your opinion! :)

Besides that, how was your week so far?
To me, the days flew by much too quickly! I haven't done half of the things I had in mind!
But I did manage to hang out with my friends :)
This Tuesday I went at the italian open market & as usual, found some amazing things, plus I also got some beads & other material for my jewellery, which is very exciting!
I'll share with you more about the new pieces that I made in one of my upcoming videos, or on my
That same day, in the afternoon hours, I went thrifting with my friends Liley &
Arianna from Shiny Fairies blog, needless to say, we went a bit crazy & returned home with a whole bunch of stuff, perfect for the fall and winter weather! hihi ;)

& today, even though it was rainy & gloomy day, after I finished running errands for my hubby at the post office, I went with my friend Chiara to the mall.
The reason wasn't shopping, but giving out Chiara's cv, as she's searching for a job.
We had a nice chat, grabbed some frozen yoghurts ...
I returned home with only one thing: A perfume from Zara, "Black Peony".
I was sooo surprised at how good the Zara's perfumes are!
...and very, very affordable!
I paid the "Black Peony" (30ml) only 9.95€.
I'm sorry you guys that I haven't taken any pics, but as I've said, it was a busy week & I really had a very little time to dedicate to my blog!
I'll make it up to you the next week, as I have two big reviews coming, on dr.Hauschka and Avon Anew Rejuvenate line.
I already have these reviews on my eipysgudps youtube channel, if you wish you can check them out:
but as I've said, there will be detailed reviews on these products soon on my blog :)

Good night to you all!
 ♥ Sweet dreams ♥

How to Style Leather Shorts ♫ Edgy/Girly/Trendy/Chic ♫

Hello girls!

The sun & the warm weather is back to Italy...yeay!
We aren't ready for the cold just yet!

Today I'm going out & about with my friend Chiara...she's looking for a second job, so I'm going to help her distribute her cv & then we're going to hit the mall together ;)
However, I don't have any big shopping plans!
...Just to see what's new in stores...

Before I go, I'd like to update my blog with a couple of pics of mine...this is how I like wearing my new faux leather shorts:

As you can read from this blog post' title, I was going for a girly-edgy-trendy-chic-rocker-military feel.
The thing with leather shorts, if you don't style them carefully, you can easily appear "cheap/trashy" and sooo not appropriate for everyday look!
My idea was to style them in a way to be able to even do a grocery shopping wearing my faux leather shorts!

I paired them with:
- Military green linen vest: H&M
- Oversized grey top w/sparkly details: Matthew Williamson
- Black ballet flats: Flyfor
- Sunnies: H&M
- Black cuff: H&M (men's dept.)
- Bag: Bought in Italy, Trieste, a while ago
- Skull scarf: Vanity accessories store
- Cute rhinestone panda ring Click here to buy the same ring!
- Chanel logo earrings: a "souvenier" from London
- Black watch: Avon jewellery

My faux leather shorts are from Tally Weijl fashion store.
Tally Weijl on-line

You can check out my video, where I'm giving more little tips on how to style the leather shorts
HERE! ♥ CLICK HERE TO WATCH MY VIDEO ♥

Leather shorts are a really trendy clothing item this Fall 2011. season, so I'll make sure to do more styling ideas with them ;)
Do you have a pair of (faux) leather shorts & if you do, how do you like to style them?
I'm also looking to buy a faux leather high waisted skirt, I saw the one that I like at Stradivarius store, so I might just go back & get it! ;)

Thanx for reading!
Ciao, ciao, belle ragazze! ♥

I filmed the first one at Lido di Jesolo seaside resort in Italy, a few weeks ago...it was a very warm, sunny & just lovely Sunday!
& The second one is actually a bit longer, because I put together four ootd that I filmed during my recent stay in Croatia.
Also, the weather was beautiful, it was serving us well, so my outfits were ideal for a warm, early fall days!

However, this week has started off quite chilly!
I'm in a phase of recovering from my cold so I haven't been out since we arrived back to Italy this past Wednesday ... but I have noticed that an extra blanket feels good & this morning my hubby turned the small heater on, just to warm up a bit our place.

Enjoy watching my vids, hopefully you get inspired! ;)

outfit!...somehow...

I really love these shorts!

Croatia day #4.
Going back to Italy...

...in my garden...going back to Italy with my new hair colour! ;)

Most of the clothes I was wearing is from H&M.
Recently I've done some major shopping there (will let you know about it, will do! ☺) because they had an in-store promotion, some sort of a mid-season sale...
I managed to grab some really nice pieces at awsome prices...like this pair of high-waisted floral print shorts and the dress from my last pics...

OOTD Before the Storm: Rocker Chic, Biker Boots & Tight Leopard Print Pants

Hello beauties!

Here is another quick outfit post as I'm a little behind with my blog posts ...

This is an outfit that I was wearing a week, or two ago, one gloomy & rainy Sunday ...
Ever since that day, the beautiful weather has returned to Italy, so we're still enjoying a true summer here!
I'm sorry it's only now that I upload it.
I really like the outfit I was wearing that day, totally my style & something that I really feel good in :)

Since then, the weather has been so lovely that I wore my new biker boots (featured in this video) only once!
All the time I'm in my ballet flats or sandals!

I was wearing:

T-shirt: Zara (TRF)
Cropped suede like grey jacket: Zara
Leopard print pants: H&M (young girl's dept.)
Belt: Top Shop
Bag: Valentino
Ring: Pull & Bear
Earrings: Chanel logo
Necklace: H&M
Black leather cuff: H&M (men's dept.)
Biker boots: Bought in Italy, some random store, the brand is "Malien" (...never heard of it before actually!, lol)

My fashion tips for today:

- Shop even at kids' & men's dept. as you may find a real treasures there!
Think outside of your size & department :)

- The leopard print pants are Huuuuge for this season!
I got mine a few years ago, but I just recently saw the very similar ones at Zara (trf), they're the hottest trend around!
It looks like the animal print just won't ever go out of style?

Hope you enjoyed this quick outfit post :)
I'll see you soon with a new beauty product review, a product that I'm so excited about that I just MUST share ;)

Ciao, ciao!
xx Sonja

How to Style a Floral Print Leggings?

Hello girls!

I was a bit absent from blogging lately, because I was in Croatia running some errands...and whilst doing that, I also got ill with a nasty cold, some sort of a flu virus, idk...
Yesterday I returned to Italy and all I really wanted was my bed!
I don't think I'm going to be able to go to work tomorrow, but contacting my doctor is more stressful than actually being ill!
It seems impossible to reach him!
How I miss my old dr. in Croatia!

Anyways, this blog post is going to be about fashion & style...
I have been really liking the floral print leggings lately!
I think they're such a fun clothing item, and when styled the right way, paired with the right colours, they can look awesome for the fall season!

You can check out my video on how to style a floral print leggings just by hitting the play button bellow:
(Hopefully  this gives you some inspiration & useful tips!)

& this is how my styling looks like in the pics...

I got my floral print leggings (actually these are more of a jeggings!) from the wholesale-dress.net website.
They cost only US$ 5.95 & you can get them HERE!

Black top with ruffles: H&M
Flats: Tiurai
Ballet flats: Best Shoes
Red clutch: Bought in Croatia
Black bag: Valentino
Red faux leather jacket: Bershka

Did you like this styling?
Are a floral print leggings/jeggings something that you'd wear?

Early Fall at the Italian Beach...

Hello girls!

So how was your Sunday?
Mine was very relaxing :)
My hubby & I went to Lido di Jesolo, a famous seaside resort in the Veneto region of Italy.
We didn't bring our bathing suits, but when we arrived there, we wished we had!
The weather was beautiful, sunny & warm!
We really enjoyed our walk, ice- creams & pizza cut!

We took a few pics for my blog...
This is how the early Fall looks like in Northern Italy...

I hope this beautiful weather lasts long because I'm not eager to experience the cold just yet!
(...Well, I never am, actually!)

Kisss from Italy xx
Ciao, ciao!

Styling Ideas: Four Fashion Outfits for the Early Fall Season!

Hello beauties!

How was your weekend?
I hope everyone relaxed & enjoyed these still warm & sunny days of the early Fall (at least here in Italy, the weather has been treating us well these days!)

Yesterday I uploaded a new fashion video; I put together four different outfits that I believe are just perfect for the early Fall season.
If you haven't had time to check it out yet, you can do that now, by just clicking on the play button bellow:

I hope my video gives you a bit of an inspiration on how you can dress for this transitional period of time; I know I'm always a bit puzzled when Summer transitions into Fall, and I need a new ideas on what to wear! ;)

So let's check out the outfits I've prepared for you!

OUTFIT #1

This look is very Fall-ish!
I love the dress!
This dress was a gift from my Mum, she bought it somewhere in Croatia.
Leggings are from Pitarello fashion store, bought this summer, on sale.
I figured this colour would work well in my wardrobe, and I still didn't have a pair of leggings in this colour, so it was a great buy, as on sale they were reduced to only 3.50 € !
Bag is by Max & Co.
Brown, braided belt is taken from a long shirt that I bought at Stradivarius store.
My leather boots are Jany Gold (made in Italy).
My green chandelier earrings are from one jewellery store in Croatia.
Cuff bracelets: Skandal fashion store (Croatia) and H&M (men's dept.)
Coconut watch is a souvenier from Sardinia, other bracelets are from H&M.

OUTFIT #2

Another outfit that I enjoy wearing in these early Fall days!
I love the casual, yet chic feel that it has :)
My dress is from Pimkie store (the belt came together with the dress).
Camel color cardigan with sparkly rhinestones is from H&M.
Bag is by Bershka (white cat pendant is from Funky Fish, bought in Croatia).
Socks are from H&M.
Boots are bought here in Italy.
Cuff bracelets are from Skandal and H&M.
Gold layered chain bracelet is my handmade piece CLICK HERE for my handmade jewellery!
Coconut watch is from Sardinia, a souvenier from my summer vacations, wrap bracelet is from H&M.

OUTFIT #3

I love high waisted skirts!
They're still a big MUST- HAVE in my wardrobe!
My white top is from H&M, so is the skirt!
The wide blue belt is from Jennifer fashion store.
The necklace was a great find, at the italian open market, it cost me only 1 €!
Ring is from H&M (people always admire this ring and compliment me on it!)

OUTFIT #4

Do you remember me mentioning in my TOP Fall 2011. Fashion Trends how cheetah print/leopard print is going to be one of major trends for this Fall season?

So I picked out this high waisted leopard print skirt!
The skirt is from Pull & Bear.
Leggings are from Mango, black tube top is from H&M.
Faux leather vest is from Jennifer.
My black ballet flats with sequins are bought here in Italy, and are by a brand Flyfor.
Sunnies are from Stradivarius.
My elastic black belt with an interesting buckle detail is thrifted from my local thrift store here in Italy.
Black cuff bracelet is from H&M (men's dept.) and other bracelets are from Accessorize store and from my local 1€uro store!
Watch is from Avon jewellery.
A pop of red colour! My bag is from H&M, earrings are handmade by my friend Liley who kindly gave these to me as a present :)

I hope you guys liked these outfits!
Do let me know which one is your favourite & why!
What is your style going to be like in these beautiful, warm days of an early fall season?

Kiss from Italy,
Ciao, ciao!
xx Sonja
