Small Spaces- Storage Ideas & Fitness Test! ;))

Hi lovelies!

Today, my hubby & I finished putting together the furniture in our small hallway...

Because I have too many things, we have to make the most out of the space we have...

We put together a closet and lots of a "shoe-storage" plastic boxes from Ikea (these are actually great for making the most out of the storage space!)

We had fun & took just a few quick snapshots of me in between my closet and shoe storage boxes!

There is such a little space left in between, that getting in there actually serves as a "fitness test", my hubby concluded! lol

Tomorrow we might just transfer our bed to our new home, which means we'll finally have our first night there!

&..this also means I'll be without internet for a ... (???)

These days, I was dowloading the season 3 and 4 of my favourite TV- show, "True Blood", like crazy!

I really wanted to see all the episodes, and I can't wait (I don't know how long) to start watching them again on-line!

You guys, I don't watch TV, it's been 7 years now, so internet is my everyyythinggg!

I guess I'll turn to reading books & listening to the radio now :)

Anyway, I wanted to post a music video for a song "Bad Things" by Jace Everett, that is a theme song of "True Blood" intro!

I don't like the intro that much, but I ♥♥♥♥ the songgg!

On the other note, I'm slowly getting to know the road to my new place (been driving back and forth every day, for a week now!).

The journey to get to my work is going to be a bit longer, but the place where I'm going to live is so much prettier than where we had lived for the past (almost) 5 years...

I guess that's my little ramble for today!

"Outfits of the Week" Video on MissFashionKitty Channel

Hello girls!

I'm about to go to sleep as tomorrow I have a busy day at work ahead of me, but before I hug my pillow, here is a quick outfit post for you :)

Actually, more than a post, it's a video...

Just an older video that I had in my files, so I've decided to edit it & re-upload it.

The outfits that I'm showing you in this video may serve you as a styling inspiration for this Fall weather, when one day it is warm and sunny and then the next day it is raining and quite chilly!

Besides that, how was your week so far?

To me, the days flew by much too quickly! I haven't done half of the things I had in mind!

But I did manage to hang out with my friends :)

This Tuesday I went at the italian open market & as usual, found some amazing things, plus I also got some beads & other material for my jewellery, which is very exciting!

I'll share with you more about the new pieces that I made in one of my upcoming videos, or on my 

B-deas Jewellery blog.

That same day, in the afternoon hours, I went thrifting with my friends Liley & 

Arianna from Shiny Fairies blog, needless to say, we went a bit crazy & returned home with a whole bunch of stuff, perfect for the fall and winter weather! hihi ;)

& today, even though it was rainy & gloomy day, after I finished running errands for my hubby at the post office, I went with my friend Chiara to the mall.

The reason wasn't shopping, but giving out Chiara's cv, as she's searching for a job.

We had a nice chat, grabbed some frozen yoghurts ...

I returned home with only one thing: A perfume from Zara, "Black Peony".

I was sooo surprised at how good the Zara's perfumes are!

...and very, very affordable!

I paid the "Black Peony" (30ml) only 9.95€.

I'm sorry you guys that I haven't taken any pics, but as I've said, it was a busy week & I really had a very little time to dedicate to my blog!

I'll make it up to you the next week, as I have two big reviews coming, on dr.Hauschka and Avon Anew Rejuvenate line.

Early Fall at the Italian Beach...

Hello girls!

So how was your Sunday?

Mine was very relaxing :)

My hubby & I went to Lido di Jesolo, a famous seaside resort in the Veneto region of Italy.

We didn't bring our bathing suits, but when we arrived there, we wished we had!

The weather was beautiful, sunny & warm!

We really enjoyed our walk, ice- creams & pizza cut!

We took a few pics for my blog...

This is how the early Fall looks like in Northern Italy...

I hope this beautiful weather lasts long because I'm not eager to experience the cold just yet!

(...Well, I never am, actually!)

It's London Time! (Day 3 & 4)

Hello girls!

Even though I'm already in Croatia since this Friday night and have been vlogging about my mini-vacation (I still need to edit everything, probably when I return to Italy...) I still needed to do a blog post about my London trip, days 3 & 4, just as I've said I would!
So let's do that now!

Day 3 & 4 were reserved for Big Ben & Westminster, Camden Town, Hammersmith & Fulham!

In the meanwhile, we were eating this yummy cheesecake in a pub
at Gloucester Square.
Outside was quite chilly & windy, so it was better to wait for the bus inside
of the pub!

We really enjoyed every minute of it & would like to go back again soon :)

Sunday With Friends& Italian Pastry (Frittelle& Galani)

I just tought I would share some of the pics from this Sunday, spent with my hubby& friends :)

We went for a walk to the nearby village, it was a nice& sunny day of February.

We went to visit the old Castle of Roncade.

A bit about the Castle:

"...Roncade castle is one of the most characteristic examples of rural life in Venetian society and is to be found in the centre of Roncade, under the province of Treviso and close to Venice.

It has always been called “castle” and its history goes back in time to around year 900 A.D. when the Emperor Ottone II offered it to the Collalto family. Successively the castle belonged to the Treviso family of Sanzi.

In the 16th Century the Venetian Patrician Girolamo Giustinian constructed the castle which we see today, on the remains of the previous building destroyed by Cangrande della Scala. In the history of the 'Serenissima' Republic of Venice the Giustinian family had left evident traces. There were the Doges Stefano and Marco Antonio, the Blessed Niccolò Monaco, the Blessed Eufemia and Saint Lawrence the first Patriarch of Venice.

The current owner of the castle, Baron Vincenzo Ciani Bassetti, belongs to an ancient family with a long-lasting agricultural tradition from the Trentino region. The family has worked to maintain this estate and especially that ofviticulture and the production of quality wines. In fact, ever today the image of the castle is linked to the estate which surrounds the castle: its own wine-growing farm. The lands in this area are particularly suitable for wine production with a soil rich in sand and clay just a few centimeters down, an indispensable condition for producing typical perfumed white wines and full-bodied red wines suitable for ageing.

The wine yards are situated in the village of Roncade, one in the Pantiera area, famous for its robust wines, the other near the 1500’s year old “Teson” barchessa, symbol of a wine production rooted in the most beautiful and fascinating tradition. The ambition of Roncade castle is to produce only prestigious wines like in the times of the Venetian Republic, caring for the ancient wine cellars and wines keeping alive the noble origins of the castle.

The castle originally built for the Giustinians summer holidays, today provides the visitor with a window on the past. As you arrive at Roncade the two look-out towers and the huge gate indicate the way towards the secular park. Once inside a series of statues representing the “Schiavoni” lead you to the front of the true villa. To the left of the villa there is a small private family chapel in which there are the two 'terracotta' busts of the two first owners of the castle: Girolamo Giustinian and Agnesina Badoer..."

We also had a delicious italian ice-cream (which I didn't photograph, but I've chosen two flavours: Mandarino and Pistacchio, both delicious!)

As it's the carnival time, the must have pastry in this region are: Fritelle and Galani.
