Just a quick post, for all the lovers of my vlogs!...I have vlogged quite a bit during my summer vacations in Croatia, and now that all the vlogs are up on my youtube channel, I'd like to share them with you here on my blog too! :)
This year, I was pretty adventurous, I didn't just lay on the beach all day long (actually, I never do that!), but I was way more active, and went exploring the island where I vacationed (the island of Rab).
Tons of things happened in my vlogs, I tried to make them as interesting as possible for you guys! :)

In this one, I'm taking you with me to the island of Krk!
We're going to the location of Baska beach, which is a beautiful, long, sandy beach with crystal clear sea.
I love it there, but in summertime it's always crowded and full of tourists...It's about 2 hours drive from my hometown in Croatia, and every summer, we try to go to Baska at least once, on a day trip!
I really wanted to share with you the beauty of Baska beach, so I had to vlog!!! :)

On the day of our trip, the wind Bura was blowing pretty strong, so the sea wasn't nice & calm, it was quite wavy and chilly! Sometimes, when Bura blows, they have to close down the bridge of Krk, because crossing it, becomes too dangerous!
Once, when I was working as a tourist guide, it happened to me that I was stuck at the island, on a bus, waiting for the Bura to calm down so they can re-open the bridge for traffic!
This time we had better luck, Bura wasn't so strong, so we were able to go to the island and, in the evening, return to the mainland :)

Here is my Holiday Outfit Vlog #7 and with this outfit I concluded my Holiday Outfit series, from the beautiful island of Rab...
Day 7 was actually the day of our return, back home to Rijeka, but we didn't travel until the night time!
We actually took almost the last ferry to the Mainland!
We just didn't want to go back to the "reality"!
Rab was just too beautiful, and there I was in touch with my roots and the past...My parents lived there until I was 3 or 4 years old, so my very first memories and my very first friendships come from this island!
This year, as my Dad is no longer on this Earth, it was so emotional for me, going back to Rab.
I visited some of his best friends and felt like he was there with us for a moment!
I also re-discovered an old, forgotten friend of mine!
He was my very first friend, and we always played together...but I was 2 then, and he was maybe 4...so of course I would have never recognized him on the streets if I saw him! Too many years have passed since our childhood games at the island!
My Dad's friends told me where he works, so I went to give him a surprise visit, after almost 30 years!!!
It was crazy, but I'm so glad I did that! His Mum was a close friend of my Mum, so she was also thrilled to see me ♥
I met some really loving people there and I felt as they're my long lost family!
I'll include one pic from my album, when I was celebrating my 2nd birthday, back in 1983. at the island of Rab, with my "crowd" from there, my oldest friends!

Who is this??? B-day girl & my friends from Rab! I lost touch with all these people, (now they're all grown up!!! (as I am!!!)) except for this little boy at the right side of the pic, whom I met this summer (he's my childhood friend that I was telling you about!)
As you can tell from my story, our last day at the island was really intense as we did so many things starting from the very first morning!
In the afternoon hours, we went to the beach, to catch at least a few hours of sun, before hitting the road...of course, we got tired playing volleyball, but after a quick shower and a yummy dinner, we were ready to say goodbye to Rab for this year!

Watch out!!! There is a bear on the island!!! lol, I had to take this pic, as I think this bear statue carved in wood is a master- piece! ;) & also very unusual...there must be some story connected with it...I should investigate! ;) Of course, there are no bears at this island, so maybe the people from Rab fancied hhaving one...even if it's just a wooden statue!

Oh yes, I have to mention, no Outfit of the Night pics on my Day 7, as we were travelling back home! It was past Midnight when we arrived home, but we prefered it like that, because we had a whole one day left to enjoy the island, before the departure!
