Fall Fashion (OOTD)

Hi guys!

I think it's time for one fall inspired OOTD post.

I spent most of October in Croatia, in my hometown Rijeka. The weather was sunny and warm and it was just perfect for taking long walks by the sea or the town's centre.

Here is what I wore one Sunday, when my hubby, our little son and my Mum, went to Alfa Romeo car meeting, that took place at the centre of Rijeka.

We had a lot of fun, and we stayed out and about for more than 5 hours!

I wanted to wear something comfy, but trendy, so I opted for this Leopard print coat, leather boots and a backpack (Mom friendly style!)

I wore my new floral print sweater that I was sent to by Light in the Box on line store to review. I loved it on top of my denim shirt and paired with Leopard print coat.

I always liked the combo of leopard and floral print, I think it's a good match.

My skinny jeans are actually from H&M maternity line, but I still like to wear them because they're super skinny and "body shaping" model, so they're more flattering than other jeans that I have.

Luckily, during my pregnancy, the elastic waistband didn't stretch out, so I can keep wearing them! (probably because I bought more than one pair of maternity jeans, plus, the last two months of my pregnancy, I avoided wearing jeans...I needed something way more comfy!)

I think this is a perfect fall outfit for those warm & sunny days and long walks.

Apart from the floral sweater, everything else I've had in my wardrobe for a while! I haven't been shopping for new things in a while (and luckily, I don't need to, as I have a lot of nice things in my closet already!)

With the beginning of 2017, my resolution was to buy less and make the most out of the things I already have. I think I did pretty good overall!

I really feel better about myself and more organised, now that I stopped constantly buying new arrivals!

So this post isn't to indicate you on what's new in stores, but I made it to give you an inspiration for your fall look; if you like it, maybe you can put together a similar outfit from the clothes you already have!

Purple Winter OOTD

ENG: Hi guys, how are you all doing?
I hope everything's fine! I've been a bit MIA because I had a lot of work to do for my youtube channels, I have lots of exciting collaborations coming up, so I'm really looking forward to that!
Also, this week I'm off work, so I have more time free to write my articles for Glam Express, and I'm also planning a little weekend getaway to the italian mountains!

This morning, I was browsing through some old videos on my youtube channel SoniaVerardo BeautyBlog and I came across this video that I found to be hillarious! My hubby and I both had a good laugh whilst watching it, and I noticed how many sincere comments I received back then! People were genuinely interested in my content on youtube, and were really engaged with my channel. Nowdays I feel it's all sub 4 sub, and loads of fake compliments from people who saw maybe 30 sec of my video (the time they took to actually write the comment), trying to draw attention to their own channels. I definitely dislike where this youtube game is heading, but I keep playing it, because I want to show that there are still people who genuinely enjoy creating content, and not all of us are money or fame drawn!
I'm talking about a video that I published in 2010., and it was sort of a Q&A type of video. I filmed it outdoors, in the italian hills, the scenery was beautiful. I was exactly one year and a half into creating youtube videos, and I wanted to give you guys a little insight into my life and help you to get to know me and my personality a bit better.

As this upcoming weekend I'm going to the mountains, I thought I'd do a little "response", or "update" video, to my video from 2010.!

HR: Bok ljudi! Kako ste mi?
Nadam se da ste svi super! Ja sam bila malo "odsutna" od bloga, jer sam vise vremena posvetila obvezama na youtube-u. Imam planirane neke zanimljive suradnje, tako da se bas veselim tome!
Ovaj tjedan sam na godisnjem, tako da imam vise vremena za pisanje clanaka za Glam Express, a ovaj vikend planiram i kratki put u talijanske planine!

Za doruckom sam prelistavala svoje stare videe na youtube kanalu SoniaVerardo BeautyBlog i naisla na ovaj video iz 2010. god. koji je mene i muzica nasmijao do suza!

Video mi je jednostavno presmjesan i smijem se sama sebi dok ga gledam, ali isto tako je iskren i spontan i zbog toga ga necu skinuti u pokusaju brendiranja svog kanala i izgradnje imagea...
Da, jer branding i image je sve o cemu se danas prica i o cemu blogeri/youtuberi razmisljaju, zar ne?
Iskreno me dotaklo do srca kada sam shvatila koliko sam iskrenih komentara tada dobila na taj video! Ljudi su zaista zeljeli podijeliti sa mnom svoje dojmove i reakcije na sam video. Danas, imam dojam, sve se vrti oko sub 4 sub, follow 4 follw. Ljudi ostavljaju puno laskavih komentara (iako su pogledali mozda samo 30 sek vaseg videa, bas onoliko koliko im je trebalo da napisu taj komentar), u pokusaju privlacenja paznje na svoj kanal. U ovoj youtube zajednici koja se u zadnje vrijeme vrti oko slave, novca, pohlepe i nezdrave konkurencije/ nadmetanja, meni osobno ponekad je tesko naci motivaciju.
I dalje sam ovdje jer zelim pokazati da nas jos ima: Iskrenih i jednostavnih, obicnih ljudi, kojima je ovo hobby i zabava i koji zaista zele komunicirati sa vlastitom "publikom" i cijene sve do i jednog citatelja/ gledatelja. Ima nas jos koji smo ovdje vodjeni strascu za modom i ljepotom i djeljenjem malih zenskih savjeta, a ne vodjeni idejom popularnosti i karijere.
Biti bloger danas je IN, zar ne? 

Video koji sam snimila 2010. bio je jedna forma Q & A videa, htjela sam vam na zanimljiv i originalan nacin predstaviti dijelic svog zivota i dati vam priliku da me malo bolje upoznate. Snimila sam ga u talijanskim brdima Vittorio Veneto, krajolici su fantasticni, a tocno godinu dana i sest mjeseci od pokretanja svog prvog youtube kanala.

Buduci da ovaj vikend putujem u Cortinu, htjela sam snimiti jedan takav format videa: Nesto tipa odgovor na moj video iz 2010. : 6 godina poslije!Ukoliko imate koje pitanje za mene, sada je prava prilika da mi ga postavite dolje u komentarima!Na njih cu odgovoriti u iducem videu iz Cortine i dajem shoutout svakom tko mi postavi pitanje!

I love this sweater!

ENG: Hello lovelies! Happy Monday! :-)
It's been a week since my last outfit post, I'm sorry about that but I was really busy!
I edited quite a few videos for my youtube channels and I also went with my friends to Treviso and Mestre this past week, so there'll be some material for my blog from those trips too! 
In my today's post I want to show you another way of how I like to wear my favourite winter sweater! I already wore it here! I bought it past year at Pull & Bear and I believe it's so Isabel Marant inspired! I even got a comment saying the same thing! :-)
This time, I paired it with my black skinny jeans by Bershka and Zara coat. Nico fashion stores bag and a pair of chic Stradivarius sunglasses completed the look!

HR: Bok svima! Ugodan pocetak novog radnog tjedna vam zelim! :-)
Proslo je vec tjedan dana od mog zadnjeg blog posta, a razlog tome bio je moj rad na editiranju videa za youtube kanal! Bas sam se dala na posao i vjerujte mi, za dobar editing potrebno je cak i po par sati rada! Prosli tjedan imala sam i priliku skoknuti sa prijateljicama do Trevisa i Mestre, tako da ce biti materijala za blog i sa tih malih putovanja! Jedva cekam objaviti sve sto sam pripremila za vas :-)
U danasnjem postu nosim dzemper koji mi se jako svidja i kojeg sam vam vec pokazala ovdje!  Kupila sam ga prosle godine u Pull & Bear ducanu i podsjeca me na Isabel Marant stil! Bas sam isti komentar nedavno primila na blogu!
Sada sam ga ukombinirala sa crnim uskim trapericama iz Bershke i Zara kaputicem. Torba (Nico fashion stores) i naocale (Stradivarius) upotpunile su styling!

Winter Sweater

ENG: In winter time, I like to dress warm & cozy! My favourites in this cold season are warm & colorful sweaters. When I saw this super cute sweater at the shopping window of Pull & Bear store, I immediately fell in love!
I honestly think that, every time I wear it, it brightens up my long winter days!
This is only one of many outfit combinations with this sweater; I paired it with my leather pants from H&M (I bought them a couple of years ago, and these stretched out quite a bit actually, now I'm sorry I didn't go for a size down when I was buying them! Oh well...)
These photos were taken with my new Canon EOS 1200D, we were actually testing out the new lense too! It has got some cool features and it's definitely a step up in the quality of my outfit posts! I think it was a great buy and I'm really happy :-)

HR: Zimi, volim se oblaciti toplo i u udobnu odjecu! Moji omiljeni komadi odjece su definitivno lijepi, topli i sareni dzemperi. Ukoliko su veselih boja, bolje, jer na taj nacin podizu moje raspolozenje!
Zapazila sam ovaj dzemper u izlogu Pull & Bear ducana, jedne veceri, kada sam se vracala doma s posla...odmah sam ga pozeljela buduci da me je asocirao na zimske radosti (koje su meni, iskreno, nekako daleke, buduci da ja nikako ne podnosim zimu!)... Stoga mogu reci da kada nosim ovaj dzemper, on cini moje zimske dane veselijima! :-)
Ova je samo jedna od mnogih outfit kombinacija koje sam vec nosila sa ovim dzemperom...
Kozne hlace su iz H&M-a i kupila sam ih prije par godina. Svidja mi se njihova maslinasto-zelena boja, ali nazalost prilicno su se rastegnule u samo par nosenja, tako da mi je zao sto nisam kupila broj manje! 
Ove fotografije na neki nacin su test fotografije, jer isprobavali smo moj novi Canon EOS 1200d foto aparat i novi teleobjektiv...zadovoljni smo jer ima puno opcija (ali, imamo jos puno toga za nauciti!), definitivno je veliki pomak u kvaliteti mojih outfit postova, sto me cini sretnom!
