My Summer 2012. Skin Care Routine: Caudalie, Yves Rocher, Sisley, Clarins...

Hello beauties!

Today I have scheduled for you a blog post where I update you on my summer skincare routine.

My skincare routine has changed so much, since the last time I talked  about it.
I tried a whole lot of new products that seem to be working well for my skin, so I thought I'd like to share them with you!

So I have a bunch of new products to talk to you about, but some oldies too, that work so well for me, that I continued using & repurchasing them, even this summer :)

Don't miss out on my new beauty video where I go in debth about all these products; click on the video bellow to watch it:

Here are the products that I use occasionally in my skincare routine (and by occasionally I mean pretty much once a week, sometimes even more than that.):

from left to right:
- Bourjois Radiance Boosting Face Scrub (Smooth new skin effect),
- Caudalie Paris Purifying Mask (Clarifying, Anti- Blemish. Soft clays, sage & zinc.),
- Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask (reduces fine lines and puffiness),
- Kozmetika Afrodita Spot Drying Gel (for oily, impure skin.)

My morning/ day skin care routine varies a little bit...
It depends whether I'm going to stay in the whole day, or whether I'm about to go out & therefore apply my make up...

products from left to right:
- Yves Rocher Pure System Clarifying Lotion (pore minimizer for impure skin, acne prone.)
I use this product if I'm staying in all day and if I don't need to wear make up that day.
- Clarins HydraQuench Cream- Gel (Normal to combination skin. Ideal as a make up base.),
- Nuxe Anti- Fatigue Moisturizing Eye Cream (anti- aging, anti- puffiness)
With precious flower of blue everlasting and hyaluronic acid.

My night- time skincare routine (when I actually use most of the products, as I need to take my make up off, and I really like to be thorough with that!):

products from left to right:
- Yves Rocher Purbleuet Instant Eye Make Up Remover (great dupe for Lancome Bi-facil!),
- Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Make Up Removing Milk (so gentle for your skin, yet so effective, and affordable!),
- Yves Rocher Pure System Clean Pore Cleansing Face Wash,
- Clarins Toning Lotion With camomile, Alcohol- free (normal or dry skin),
- Yves Rocher Bronze Nature Face Self tanner (100% natural tan),
-Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream (missing on the photo, because in the meantime I used it up!)
- L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Eye Balm (Smoother, firmer eye contour, anti dark circles and anti- puffiness action.)

So those were all the products that I use currently as a part of my skin care routine.
I really like them all, and I would like to do a few more detailed, separate reviews on some of these products!

Which of these products should I review first?
If you're interested to find out more about any of these products, please let me know!

Thanx for stopping by!
A big kisss from Italy,
xoxo Sonja

  1. Apart from these products, it’s also good to consider applying natural regimens that also prove to be effective. :) Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is good enough to keep the skin hydrated, to maintain its elasticity, and to promote its own rejuvenating properties. Also, getting enough sleep (at least 8 hours) also helps in having smoother and healthier skin.

  2. Like what Cornell said, you can also consider using natural products which is healthier for your skin. Aside from using these products, it will also help if you have a healthy lifestyle and develop healthy eating habits.

  3. Like you, when I notice that a certain skincare product works on me, I really stick to it! I really don’t want changing products from time to time. Based from my observation, I can tell if one product is effective. So, if I get satisfied with it, I’ll be loyal with it! ;)

  4. You should really take the proper steps for the skincare steps in the summer time. The Professional skincare items help a lot for the proper summer protection for your skin.

  5. There are many resources out there for learning about supplements, but an important one often ignored is the individual. Each of us has an inner teacher who is very wise and helpful toward health, when we pay attention.
