OOTD: Pinko Coat & second hand finds!

Hello lovely people!

How are you doing and how's your weekend?💕

I went with my family to pick some seeds this afternoon, so we can plant them when the time is right. Today it was raining and windy, so it seemed like a good opportunity to go to the local store and pick up some seeds, soil and even one little peach tree, to plant in our garden, hopefully next weekend, or so!😊

We also got some strawberries plants, and I can't wait to have my own strawberries in the garden! Strawberries are my fave fruit!❤️

Other seeds that we planted a couple of weeks ago are doing really well ðŸŒąðŸŠī, and soon it'll be time to put them in the soil of our garden (for the moment they're still inside of our house, in the vases and egg containers (I wrote about it in this post, do you remember?)

And now, let me quickly present you my OOTD:

This outfit again, is made mostly out of second hand finds!

Wool coat: Pinko (second hand find!)

White cardigan: Zara

Shirt: second hand

High waisted "Mom" jeans: Zara (second hand)

Leather bag: Furla (second hand)

Sneakers: Reebok Club C (second hand)

As you already know, second hand is definitely my cup of tea! However I was thinking of buying even less and just making the most of what I already have!

I'll talk about it more in the future, I'm thinking of doing something like "no buy" challenge, or similar!

I really want to focus on all the things that I already have and appreciate them to the fullest!

How about you? Are you thinking the same?

I'll talk to you soon!

Hello guys, I'm back with 5 outfits to inspire good mood!

Hello guys!

Long time no chat!
It's been a while since my last post, I actually can't believe it's been almost 6 months.
What started like a mini break from posting, turned into a very long period without me being active here :-/
The reason for that is mainly the fact that I rarely have time free to dedicate to posting. I'm trying really hard to keep up with my youtube channel, and post at least one video a week, but combining that with working on my blog posts, well it was just too much.
Lately my hubby has been travelling a lot for work, so during the weekdays I'm alone with my little one, and on weekends, when my hubby's at home, I work. So it's been tough and we've been super busy. I hope you'll understand. I never really thought of quitting my blog, it's just that sometimes I prefer to go to sleep, rather than staying awake to blog, whilst my little one is taking a nap.
I really trully enjoy motherhood and it's my choice to dedicate myself fully to it: Everything else comes after that!

Anyway, I'm going to try really hard to come back to posting, as often as I can! Now it's a little past midnight, my son is asleep, and I'm typing this post for you, because, clearly I feel motivated!

I'd like to share with you 5 outfits that are easy to wear, quite casual, but meant to inspire good mood, as this is what fashion is all about!

Here in Italy we've been under a true heat wave, with very high temperatures during the day and night!
My style hasn't changed too much since I became a Mum, only now I prefer to wear functional, comfy and practical clothes and footwear. I'm constantly running around, or running after my little one, at least I want to feel good in what I'm wearing!
Of course, I still like it to be cute and on trend, with a touch of personal style.
In my wardrobe, you can find a lot of denim, rompers/ jumpsuits, cool print cotton tees, and comfy footwear: boots and sneakers.

Outfit # 01

I'm wearing my cotton grey tee paired with this cozy white romper from H&M.
I have a neon yellow Converse, Ray ban sunnies, and a denim shirt in case it gets a bit chilly in the afternoon.

Outfit # 02

I'm wearing my good old skinny jeans from Zara, paired with colorful cotton tee, and a fringe jacket by Hollister.
Again, I'm wearing super comfy footwear, and a colorful necklace, to add that summer touch to the outfit.

Outfit # 03

This outfit calls for summer vacation!
In fact, I'm wearing this super cozy and colorful jumpsuit by Hollister that I always bring with me on my summer vacations. I paired it with a crochet knit sweater on top, as it was a bit windy that day.
White All Star sneakers are my must have!

Outfit # 04

I enjoy wearing mini white skirt in summer time and it can be denim, or leather, as in this photo (from Zara). As I've mentioned, I like to complete my looks with something denim: It can be a jacket, shirt, or even a vest, I think it always looks nice and gives to the outfit that comfy everyday feel.

Outfit # 05

This outfit is super casual as I'm wearing a pair of jeggings and a simple grey sweatshirt, but the colorful boots make it cuter and more interesting.

Lastly, don't forget to smile!
Whatever you're wearing, it can look amazing if you have enough confidence and positive attitude!

I hope you enjoy this post!
Please leave me your comments, I'd love to hear from you.
I hope I'll chat to you soon :-)

My Baby Boy's Clothing, Food & Essentials Haul in Croatia!

Hi guys!

Recently I went with my little family on a short trip to my home in Croatia. It was sort of a mini vacation and we all enjoyed it pretty much!

When I was there, I went in a few stores that sell baby clothes & other essentials, and I picked some items that I want to share in today's post.

My dear long time friend Fatmira came to visit us, and she gave me a gift card to use in S. Oliver's store (as she said, she wanted to get to my little Sebastian some cute bits from that store, as their clothes is really cute and nice quality.)
This is actually the first time I was shopping for my boy in S.Oliver's store and I can say that I was very pleased with what I picked out!

My little son already has quite a big selection of summer clothes (and babies grow fast), so I decided to pick a few things in bigger sizes, that he's going to (hopefully) be able to wear next summer!
Aren't these T-shirts and a little bandana adorable?

I also went to Drogerie Markt and Muller drugstores and I picked some yummy baby food and hygiene essentials:

I'm still breastfeeding, but my baby is 7 months old now, so he does eat some solids too. I usually cook his meals (I got the Philips Avent blender & steamer that I'll be reviewing soon), but I discovered these delicious Frutek meals that you can offer to your baby as a breakfast or dessert, and boy, does he love them!
They're made in Slovenia, and...well done! They're super delicious (can mommy have one too? lol), and I even went back the next day, to buy some more (as I haven't seen them here in Italy).

I also bought some baby hygiene essentials, such as Penaten creme (recommended by my Mum. She said she used Penaten products on me and I never had any irritations or nappy rash), Water Wipes (probably the best wipes on the market, as they don't contain any chemical ingredients, only water and fruit extract), great for sensitive skin. I like to buy them whenever I'm in Croatia, because I can't seem to find them here where I live in Italy :-(
You can get them in DM and Muller, but in Muller they're more affordable!

I also picked some cute bath products and his first toothbrush (by MAM). He only has 2 bottom teeth so I think it's still a bit early to start brushing his teeth (he doesn't even know how to spit yet!), but I'd appreciate to know your experiences and advices, when did you first start with your baby's oral hygiene?

You guys know that I don't share pics of my baby on the social medias, but here are a few "candids" where you can see bits of him and his daily life activities.
He's such a good and dear boy, he loves to play and he always smiles! I love him more than life!

You might have noticed that, since I became a Mum, my blog has been moving into a slightly different direction...Well, I started my blog a very long time ago (has it been 7 or 8 years now?), and it never started as exclusively fashion blog, but it had a mixture of everything (fashion, beauty, lifestyle...)
A few years ago, I started posting mostly outfit photos and my blog was taking almost exclusively that fashion direction. I got to work with numerous fashion brands and I'm not going to lie, I loved it.
Some really cool outfits and fashion posts were created in that period.

But since I gave birth to my precious boy this January, taking outfit photos has been pretty much impossible to me! I would try to "steal" a moment whenever we were out as a family, but those photos never looked as professional and put together as they used to (we used to go on a hunt for the perfect location, and my stylings were always carefully planed days ahead).
I don't say that I miss that, I'm just saying that, being used to delivering one type of content, it felt quite frustrating knowing that I took a step (or two) back in the quality of the content that I'm currently producing for you guys.

That's why I decided not to stress out about impossible situations, but to "adjust" my blog to my current lifestyle. As I truly enjoy being a Mum and I believe that my son is the greatest blessing in my life, I really want to share with you more of "Mum" related topics here, and tell you more about my & my son's journey :-)

You were already able to notice that I posted more beauty topics and reviews in the past week, and I'm planing to continue in this direction.
So from now on, there'll be lots of more beauty topics, lifestyle and Mum & baby related topics! Of course, fashion is still my love, so I'm going to try and surprise you with an outfit post whenever I can, and also "New In/ Haul" type of posts.
Since I'm doing this blog update, I also wanted to be honest and straightforward with you and let you know that sponsored posts and "wish lists" are also welcome here on my blog, as they're giving me the possibility to earn some extra $$$ to invest in my blog/ youtube and to provide better quality content for you. This is the only reason I say yes to those type of posts, as every single $ earned, I like to invest in my blogging/ vlogging. However, I always state, at the bottom of the post, when it's sponsored.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I really feel better about blogging again and I feel more motivated.
I think I really needed to pour my thoughts into this post, as everything looks clearer now!

I hope you'll keep following my (blogger/Mum) life journey :-)

I've had a baby! Meet my precious little son, Sebastian Josip ♥

Hi guys!
The reason why I haven't been posting as frequently as usual is because I became a Mum!
On 20th of January, 2017. I gave birth to my precious little boy, Sebastian Josip. ♥

I was very fortunate to have had a completely natural, non medicated childbirth. It was also rather quick (especially for a first time Mum! I was mentally preparing myself for a 20 hour labour, but I ended up having something like 5 hour labour and delivery!).
I do want to go into more details regarding this life changing experience, and I'd like to make a video on that topic too, but as you'll understand, this will have to wait for a while, as I'm now fully dedicated to my newborn son, and his needs. I barely have any time left for myself, and when I do, I sleep, or eat...or take a shower.

These first months are the most challenging, as the baby needs my full attention! My hubby is here to help me out 100% and we're basically alone in this new adventure of parenthood.
But now I can say that having a kid was the best decision I've ever made in my life! He brings me so much joy and fills my heart with the love and warmth I've never experienced before.

As I'm writing these lines, he's asleep and my hubby is also here to jump in in case he wakes up!
I did prepare some pre-recorded videos for my youtube channel, as I knew, once the baby arrives, it'll be impossible for me to film at least for a couple of months until we set some kind of a routine :-)
But don't worry, there's plenty of content coming every week on my channel & other social medias, and I'll also try to post here as frequently as I can!

I'm still recovering from giving birth... Even though the whole labour and childbirth went pretty easily, the first couple of weeks of my post partum were so painful and way more challenging than I had expected! I always tought that after a natural childbirth you're "as good as new" in 2 days...what a surprise it was when I realized that this wasn't going to be the case with me :-/ I could barely even walk for almost 2 weeks, and even moving my body in the bed, from one side to another, was a nightmare! Physically, I felt like a train wreck, but at least emotionally I was filled with happiness, excitement and joy!
I will also go into more details about my post partum recovery in a video that I'm planning to film in the near future.

This is just a quick little update from me and Sebastian Josip :-) We're doing fine and we thank you all for the loveliest comments and well wishes that you left us on my facebook and instagram!
I read all of them and they trully mean so much ♥ Thank you for all your love ♥♥
