Hello guys, I'm back with 5 outfits to inspire good mood!

Hello guys!

Long time no chat!
It's been a while since my last post, I actually can't believe it's been almost 6 months.
What started like a mini break from posting, turned into a very long period without me being active here :-/
The reason for that is mainly the fact that I rarely have time free to dedicate to posting. I'm trying really hard to keep up with my youtube channel, and post at least one video a week, but combining that with working on my blog posts, well it was just too much.
Lately my hubby has been travelling a lot for work, so during the weekdays I'm alone with my little one, and on weekends, when my hubby's at home, I work. So it's been tough and we've been super busy. I hope you'll understand. I never really thought of quitting my blog, it's just that sometimes I prefer to go to sleep, rather than staying awake to blog, whilst my little one is taking a nap.
I really trully enjoy motherhood and it's my choice to dedicate myself fully to it: Everything else comes after that!

Anyway, I'm going to try really hard to come back to posting, as often as I can! Now it's a little past midnight, my son is asleep, and I'm typing this post for you, because, clearly I feel motivated!

I'd like to share with you 5 outfits that are easy to wear, quite casual, but meant to inspire good mood, as this is what fashion is all about!

Here in Italy we've been under a true heat wave, with very high temperatures during the day and night!
My style hasn't changed too much since I became a Mum, only now I prefer to wear functional, comfy and practical clothes and footwear. I'm constantly running around, or running after my little one, at least I want to feel good in what I'm wearing!
Of course, I still like it to be cute and on trend, with a touch of personal style.
In my wardrobe, you can find a lot of denim, rompers/ jumpsuits, cool print cotton tees, and comfy footwear: boots and sneakers.

Outfit # 01

I'm wearing my cotton grey tee paired with this cozy white romper from H&M.
I have a neon yellow Converse, Ray ban sunnies, and a denim shirt in case it gets a bit chilly in the afternoon.

Outfit # 02

I'm wearing my good old skinny jeans from Zara, paired with colorful cotton tee, and a fringe jacket by Hollister.
Again, I'm wearing super comfy footwear, and a colorful necklace, to add that summer touch to the outfit.

Outfit # 03

This outfit calls for summer vacation!
In fact, I'm wearing this super cozy and colorful jumpsuit by Hollister that I always bring with me on my summer vacations. I paired it with a crochet knit sweater on top, as it was a bit windy that day.
White All Star sneakers are my must have!

Outfit # 04

I enjoy wearing mini white skirt in summer time and it can be denim, or leather, as in this photo (from Zara). As I've mentioned, I like to complete my looks with something denim: It can be a jacket, shirt, or even a vest, I think it always looks nice and gives to the outfit that comfy everyday feel.

Outfit # 05

This outfit is super casual as I'm wearing a pair of jeggings and a simple grey sweatshirt, but the colorful boots make it cuter and more interesting.

Lastly, don't forget to smile!
Whatever you're wearing, it can look amazing if you have enough confidence and positive attitude!

I hope you enjoy this post!
Please leave me your comments, I'd love to hear from you.
I hope I'll chat to you soon :-)

Outfit of the Day Challenge by Whitney Port

Hello guys!

In this post, I'd like to share with you some of my OOTD looks that I took over the past week or so. Inspired by Whitney Port and her instagram, where she's posting her (very real) OOTD pics and also hosting a little competition (under the hashtag #whitiwore). I decided to join it as soon as I found out about it because I love Whitney Port's style and she was my style inspiration way before she even started her blog!
She's a new mommy (her son just turned 1) so she's very realistically sharing her mommy- day to day outfits and everyday (style, and other) struggles!

I also don't always have time to dress up and I have even less time to take outfit photos but that's why I quickly embraced this "mirror selfie" idea, it doesn't always have to be all professionally made and perfect, sometimes that's just not possible, with all other things going on in our lives!
I can't forget that the reason I started my blog/ vlog, years ago, was because of a pure joy and honest passion and things were so much easier back then, more real, less edited, less professional and to be honest, I liked that better!

So let me share with you a couple of my recent looks and then, I'll also show you some of my favourite OOTDs that Whitney has shared so far!

During the week, I stay at home with my son so there isn’t much to show, but on weekends when I work, I try to make an effort to put together a nice outfit. I’m already getting inspired by Whitney’s looks and I’m excited to see what are other people wearing too! This was my Saturday outfit for work. As I work long hours and always in motion, sneakers are a must! Dress is from H&M and seashell jewelry is from Croatia and quite old! I love to wear it as it reminds me my summer vacations are coming soon!

This was for work this past Sunday. Wide leg cropped pants are a big must have this season and these are very light and perfect for hot summer days! I got them at Zaful  and the cropped top is from New Yorker and it’s perfect with high waisted pants. I had my hair braided in a fishtail because it was a bad hair day!

As I was going to film a video, but did not have much time to think about styling my outfit, I just threw on this lovely floral dress from H&M. I was alone at home with my little one so I didn’t have much time to film but I managed to make one video happen and now onto editing! Who likes this dress that I’m wearing?

Today I work long hours and this is my work outfit. I had to wear sneakers, otherwise my feet would hurt too much by the end of the day! Hubby kindly took these photos and our dog  wanted to show off too ;-)

This is what I wore yesterday for work. I returned home after 10 p.m. so tired I couldn’t even make this quick post! Today I didn’t even bother getting dressed as we didn’t leave the house. Back to this outfit, hubby asked me if I joined the Italian police force LOL. Apparently, the Italian “carrabinieri” wear the same pants! I said that it’s incredible how trendy, chic and stylish the Italian police is :-D

This is what I wore yesterday for my son’s playdate with his little friend. They still don’t actually play with eachother but we took them for a stroll and my little son took a nap! I wore this cute tee from Zaful and comfy cotton shorts by H&M I’m sorry about the crappy quality of the photos, the lighting was just bad (non existent) I thought I should post anyway as it might serve you as an outfit inspo if you like it! Oh and I’m finally out of my sneakers and wearing my fave Zara espadrilles that I bought when I was pregnant. So comfy!

So far these are my OOTDs but I'm hoping to post more soon! This upcoming weekend I'm working, so I have to put in some effort to be presentable! As I'm writing these lines, I'm still in my pajamas and my little one is behind me, pulling my hand as he wants my undivided attention and a playmate! haha

Here are some of my fave look by Whitney:

Let me know which looks are your faves?

You can still enter her OOTD competition if you like, so share your looks, let's inspire each other :-)

Adidas leggings OOTD

Hello lovelies!

I'm back with an outfit post :-) I actually took these photos at the beginning of this month, but forgot to post sooner, and here we are, at almost the end of the month!
It was the day after Easter that we went on a little family walk (my hubby, our little son, and our dog Lancia).
Lancia was good companion for this quick photo session ;-)

I was sporting a very casual look. I recently ordered these Adidas leggings on ASOS and I've been loving them! They are perfect for my mommy lifestyle, yet they're also quite fashionable, so I don't feel bad about leaving the house in a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt!

Puffy jacket: Duvetica
Leggings: Adidas (at Asos)
Sweatshirt: Zaful
Sneakers: Amazon
Backpack: Stradivarius
Sunglasses: Diesel

I hope you liked this casual look! This photo session was impromptu, as I didn't style anything special, or prepared myself with a full on make up & hair...but it's just...snippets of a real life :-)

ZAFUL LANTERN SLEEVE MULTICOLORED CHUNKY SWEATER (OOTD: CHIC MOMMY STYLE)

Hello guys!

Today I have an OOTD post & a video for you!
This past Sunday it was finally sunny, so we decided to make the most out of it and have a little family walk! When our son fell asleep, and our dog was resting too, I decided to quickly film an OOTD video and asked my hubby to take some photos too :-)

I was wearing this lantern sleeve multicolored chunky sweater that I got from Zaful on top of my old H&M's denim shirt. I paired everything with my boyfriend fit jeans from Zara, and Timberland boots.
It's still quite cold outside, so on top I was wearing my puffy, warm jacket by Duvetica (great quality, and soo warm!)

Check out my OOTD video here:

OOTD: Bambi Sweatshirt, Military Pants & Red All Star Converse

Hi guys!

I'm back with an outfit post! In the past couple of posts, I've done a bit of promo work for the fashion brands I collaborate with and I hope you don't mind! I truly love their products and now they have a lot of deals and sales going on, so I thought it would be nice to share some coupon codes & shopping guides/ inspo :-)

In this post I'm going to show you a casual, "mommy style" outfit that I wore for running errands and grocery shopping.

It's a mix of different prints and bright colored sneakers which make it more fun!

OOTD DETAILS:

Bambi sweatshirt and backpack are from Light in The Box online store (my recent collaboration with them)
Military print pants are from New Yorker (old, got them on sales a couple of years ago)
Aviator sunglasses are Ray Ban
Red All Star Converse sneakers to keep the look casual and cool!

I hope you like this laid back, sporty look! Let me know your comments!

Btw, I'm aware that my roots needed some serious touching up when we were shooting this ootd, lol! Please don't mind my somewhat dishevelled appearance (mommy's life, lol!)
Since then I colored my hair again at home! I'm a bit braver now to experiment with professional hair dyes (box hair dyes don't work very effectively on my dark roots). I got professional hair colors and developer and all the advice I needed from an experienced sales assistant, so the result was definitely more satisfying!
I already filmed a video review / hair coloring vlog where I share the result with you!
I got a really nice quality ammonia free color, with caviar extract and cheratine, made here in Italy, called KayPro. Have you ever heard of this brand?

I'll leave you here the links to my "Light In The Box" fashion haul video (with their ultra trendy sweaters and chunky knitwear, they got me set for the entire winter season!)

& here is my hair colouring vlog:

I'll talk to you soon!

Zara Wide Leg Jumpsuit OOTD

Hi guys!

I have another outfit post for you this week :-)
Here I wore my wide leg jumpsuit by Zara, paired with my old, cropped denim jacket. I went for a walk by the Sea with my little family :-)
I really like this jumpsuit and it's very versatile, I wear it in different ways, for many different occasions, but whenever I wear it, I feel a little bit like a diva! :-))

Pozdrav ljudi!
